摘要： The invention relates to a lock for a door or flap, comprising a locking mechanism that consists of a rotary latch (1) and at least one pawl (2) for locking the rotary latch (1), the rotary latch (1) when in the detent position preferably initiating an opening moment in the pawl (2). The design of the rotary latch (1) is such that said latch is deformed under excessive stress in the locked state in such a way that an engagement between the pawl (2) and the rotary latch (1) is maintained or increases. A lock of this type will not open even under excessive stress.

摘要： The vehicle door construction includes a bezel carrying a door release lever and linkage connected by a pair of first attachments to a door trim panel and by a second attachment to a door inner panel. The pair of first attachments includes a collar with an aperture for receiving a fastener to attach the bezel via the collar to the door trim panel. A small tab integrally connects the collar to a main portion of the bezel and defines a rupturable area when force is exerted on the door causing the door trim panel to separate from the door inner panel. The tabs rupture to allow the door trim panel to separate from the door inner panel while maintaining the bezel and the door release lever and linkage fixedly attached to the door inner panel.

摘要： A vehicle door latch assembly is disclosed herein, the vehicle door latch having: a forkbolt movably secured to the latch assembly, the forkbolt being capable of movement between a latched position and an unlatched position; a detent lever movably secured to the latch assembly, the detent lever being capable of movement between an engaged position and a disengaged position, the detent lever retains the forkbolt in the latched position when the detent lever is in the engaged position and a engagement surface of the detent lever contacts an engagement surface of the forkbolt; and an anti-bypass member secured to the latch assembly, the anti-bypass member being configured to prevent the engagement surface of the detent lever from being deflected away from the engagement surface of the forkbolt when the detent lever is in the engaged position and the forkbolt is in the latched position such that the forkbolt would be able to move to the unlatched position when the detent lever is in the engaged position.

The catch assembly has at least one catch element that is repositionable relative to the housing to change the catch assembly between first and second different states. The catch assembly in the first state is capable of preventing a strike element engaged by the latch assembly from separating from the latch assembly. The catch assembly in the second state permits a strike element, engaged by the latch assembly with the catch assembly in the first state, to be separated from the latch assembly. The housing has a base wall defining a support for at least a part of the catch assembly, a first side wall extending angularly away from the base wall, and a return wall projecting angularly away from the first side wall. At least a part of each of the base wall, first side wall, and return wall is integrally formed to define a U-shaped portion that opens in a first direction and resists deflection of the housing in response to the application of force imparted through the catch assembly to the housing in the first direction and oppositely to the first direction.
