摘要： A flight conveyor for conveying material includes a frame, drive and idler wheel(s) rotatably mounted on the frame, segments for supporting the material, shafts for pivotally interconnecting the segments to an endless row which has an upper row and a lower row running, during operation, over the drive and idler wheel(s) and a number of conveyor flights for bringing the material along in the conveying direction. A scraper is arranged at the drive wheel for successively scraping off adhered material from segments and flights such that the conveyor can be used for conveying products tending to adhere to the surfaces of the segments and the flights since the adhered products are automatically removed by the scraper.

摘要： Intercept arms of a stacker are coupled to the drive chains by connecting links pivotally connected at one end directly to one of the drive chain links so that the pivot point of the connecting link is coincident with the pitch centerline of the drive chain resulting from the fact that the connecting link forms an integral part of the drive chain, directly replacing one of the drive chain rollers. The connecting link design provides a mechanical advantage of five to one and is pivotally mounted and angled so that the connecting link is free to pivot about the chain to avoid interference as the intercept arm moves about the sprocket, providing greater stability to the intercept arm while simultaneously increasing the mechanical advantage thereby significantly reducing power losses.

摘要： A bucket conveyor with a pair of parallel draw elements between which the buckets are supported on spindles about which they rotate pendulum fashion. Forward rollers are mounted on the ends of the spindles and rear rollers are mounted at the opposite edge of the bucket. Each bucket has a flange or lip which overlaps the top edge of an adjacent bucket. The rollers on the buckets engage guide rails to properly orient the buckets as they pass over return gears and from the loading area to the dumping area and back again. By maintaining proper orientation of the buckets, the load level of each bucket and thus the capacity of the conveyor is increased. The bucket conveyor is of simple design, has low wear and high conveying capacity.

摘要： A conveyor system of a unique configuration is designed for conveying relatively small, light weight articles, such as agricultural products particularly fruits and the like, by feeding them in alignment in the travelling direction of the conveyor and at random spacing. A sorting zone is provided for sorting these articles during the conveying process. An information read-out device which is provided either at a feeding device before the entrance point of the conveyor or at a point before the sorting zone produces sorting signals in synchronism with the travel of the articles. The articles are sorted and discharged in response to the signals by dropping them to lower side places. The conveying upper surface of the conveyor consists of slat-like receiving plates spaced at a small pitch measuring only a quarter or fifth or thereabout of the size of articles to be processed. Each of the slat-like receiving plates is horizontally carried by an engaging mechanism, which disengages from the slat-like receiving plate to drop and discharge the article thereon by tilting the plate downward close to a perpendicular posture at a predetermined sorting point.

摘要： A continuous linear chain conveyor system operates throughout multiple tiers to transport a product which is being either cooled, frozen, warmed, heated, or dried and requires a retention time within a designated volume. The product is carried by multiple adjacent trays which are directly and pivotally attached on one end to opposite links of dual continuous moving sidechains, which are spaced apart, but otherwise follow identical direction paths. Moreover the chains and sprockets and most of their related components are all standard, available, components. In addition, all the components involved in critical areas of expansion and/or contraction during temperature changes, have similar coefficients of expansion and contraction. In the preferred embodiment, the conveyor trays are loaded with product outside the enclosure where the process is to take place. Remaining level, the trays move up an inclined guide to the top level entry of the compartment for subsequent longitudinal level travel on each tier and level vertical movement between tiers. During linear horizontal movement, the trays are kept level by horizontal supports. During tier changes, the trays are lowered by means of a sprocket arrangement, using standard sprockets identical to the conveyor chain standard sprockets, which allows the trays to remain level but yet firmly pivotally attached to the moving sidechains. The trays exit the compartment from the lowest tier and are then be unloaded.
