摘要: In a spectroscopically operating infrared hygrometer, beams emitted by the beam source and formed by the lens arrangement disposed in front thereof, are reflected via two pairs of rotating lenses, fixed in two parallel planes which are at a fixed distance from each other, and via a fixed mirror, to the lens arrangement placed in front of the detector and are directed by this lens arrangement to the detector. In this infrared hygrometer the absorption distance change takes place very rapidly, so that it is possible during measurements over longer perids of time, for example, during measurements taken from an airplane, to relate with small time constants the individual measurement values for the two absorption distances continuously. Furthermore, intermediate calibration is not required with this infrared hygrometer.

摘要: Radiation pulses are directed at a measuring spot on a rotating printing-image carrier in an offset printing press. The intensity of the radiation returned from the measuring spot outside of the angle of reflection of the pulse is measured for a predetermined wavelength. A pulse is directed at the measuring spot before printing and while the measuring spot is dry, and a signal representing the intensity of the returned radiation is stored in a working memory. During a subsequent printing operation, a dampening agent is applied to the printing-image carrier. In order to determine the amount of dampening agent on the printing-image carrier, radiation pulses are directed at the measuring spot as the printing-image carrier rotates during printing. The intensity of the returned radiation in the predetermined wavelength is converted into damp signals which represent the amount of dampening agent since the predetermined wavelength approximates or equals an absorption wavelength of the dampening agent. The damp signals are related to the stored dry signal in a computer to yield values indicative of the amount of dampening agent on the printing-image carrier.

摘要: A sensor apparatus for detecting the wetness of window, with a radiation emitter and a radiation receiver, with an optical guide element which can be coupled to the inner side of the window, the radiation inlet side and the radiation outlet side of the guide element are each embodied as a lens arrangement, and a lens arrangement is embodied by lens contours arranged side by side. The lens arrangement on the radiation inlet side has at least two lens contours. The inlet surfaces of the lens contours on the radiation inlet side, through which the radiation is able to enter the guide element, are inclined towards each other. The lens arrangement on the radiation outlet side has at least two lens contours. The outlet surfaces of the lens contours on the radiation outlet side, through which the radiation can exit the guide element, are inclined towards each other.

摘要: The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for monitoring a dry state of an electrode substrate in which electrode slurry is applied to a collector. The monitoring method comprises emitting light onto a surface of the electrode substrate; receiving the light reflected by the surface of the electrode substrate; and analyzing a luminous intensity or spectrum of the received light to estimate a drying rate of the electrode substrate.
The apparatus includes a light emitting part emitting light from a light source onto a surface of the electrode substrate; a light receiving part receiving the light reflected by the surface of the electrode substrate; and a computing device analyzing a luminous intensity or spectrum of the received light and comparing analyzed characteristics of the light with the reference data of the reflected light to the drying rate of the electrode substrate.

摘要: A method includes decomposing a training set to obtain a principal component matrix having a plurality of principal component vectors. The method also includes variably rejecting portions of a sample spectrum vector that do not correspond to a selected one of the plurality of principal component vectors by incrementally providing a coefficient indicative of the weighting of the selected principal component vector for selected sub-regions. A corrected spectrum vector can be obtained by excluding certain sub-regions of the sample spectrum vector and corresponding principal component vector, multiplying the sample spectrum vector with the principal component matrix for non-excluded sub-regions, providing a predicted interference vector, and subtracting the predicted interference vector from the sample spectrum vector.

摘要: A fog detecting system for a vehicle includes a camera disposed at a vehicle and having a field of view forward of the vehicle, and a non-imaging sensor disposed at the vehicle and having a field of sensing forward of the vehicle. The camera captures image data and the non-imaging sensor captures sensor data. A control includes at least one data processor operable to process image data captured by the camera and sensor data captured by the non-imaging sensor. The control, responsive to processing of image data captured by the camera and processing of sensor data captured by the non-imaging sensor, determines presence of fog ahead of the vehicle and in the field of view of the camera and in the field of sensing of the non-imaging sensor.

摘要: A first beam source radiates, as a reference beam, 905 nm of near infrared beam having a characteristic in which light tends not to be absorbed in water toward a leaf of a plant. A second beam source radiates, as a measuring beam, 1550 nm of near infrared beam having a characteristic in which light tends to be absorbed in water toward the leaf of the plant. A threshold level setter/water content index detector calculates a water content index of one leaf which is a total sum Σ Ln (I905/I1550) of the reflection intensity ratio. A controller displays a graph representing the time-serial change of the water content contained in the plant from the start to the end of the measurement period on a UI screen of a monitor. Further, the controller is connected to an environmental control device that controls environmental conditions surrounding the plant, and instructs the control device to change or maintain the environmental conditions based on a change of increase and decrease in the water content contained in the calculated plant.
