    摘要： The present invention is a smoking device which departs from a traditional “bowl and stem” design utilized for centuries, and rather comprises a series of generally cylindrically shaped layers that when stacked and secured together provide the user an effective means to safely store, transport and smoke a plurality of smoking materials. The smoking device may incorporate a bowl selection ranging in number between seven (7) to an unlimited amount, depending upon the size, desired portability and intended use. A rotatable bowl selector dial which positions a flame inlet over one of the plurality of bowls in an adjacent smoking material retention cartridge offers a means for easy bowl selection. The user may draw from the plurality of smoking materials without inhaling smoke from, or through excess burnt ash. The smoking device may further be utilized as a practical means of proportionally and consistently regulating each draw of tobacco smoke.

    摘要： A smoker's pipe of the dry bowl type is disclosed which has a ceramic inner bowl secured at its lower end to the lower end of an outer plastic bowl in a manner to space the bowls radially apart for the establishment of a cooling air space between the bowls. The pipe has a stem provided with an auxiliary fresh air inlet that is in communication with one end of a horizontal longitudinally extending passageway located in the bottom of the inner bowl below the combustion chamber and in communication therewith. The other end of the passageway is in communication with a cooling chamber to communicate smoke from the inner bowl to a mouthpiece fitted in the outer end of the stem. The mouthpiece has an insert cluster containing a smoke passage tube and a liquid contaminant tube, the latter of which is received within the open end of a liquid absorber mounted on a plug that is frictionally fitted in a bore formed in the front end of the stem below the bowl assembly. A bore having a curved bottom in the mouthpiece cooperates with a slot in the bottom of the smoke passage tube to constrain the smoke to flow over an S-shaped path for enhanced cooling.

    摘要： An anti-pollution combustion device has a bowl in the interior of which is located, above the connection between the bowl and stem, a perforated metal disc so that the tobacco rests on the same. The outside of the bowl is formed with circumferentially extending cooling ribs. The inside of the bowl is lined with a material which prevents the wood of the bowl from charring. In the smoke passage of the stem is incorporated a filter which can be changed when it is saturated with contaminants. Near the rear end of the stem there is provided a trap with a reservoir in which liquid is trapped and accumulated so that from time to time it can be discharged from the reservoir. The rear end of the stem is provided with a mouthpiece having an annular member projecting transversely of the elongation of the stem and large enough to securely retain the mouthpiece between the teeth of a user, even if the user should have false teeth. A tubular insert may be held in the bowl by the anti-charring compound and serves to prevent overheating of the bowl, promotes combustion and further protects the bowl against charring. The metal disc may rest on a flange at the lower end of the insert or it may be of one piece with the same in form of a transverse wall.

    摘要： A system for smoking a product includes a vase for containing a liquid. The vase has a closed bottom, and a side wall extending from the closed bottom and an open top that is unobstructed. The system further includes a bottle for inserting into and removing from the vase. The bottle has an open bottom, an open top, a flange circumscribing the bottle adjacent the open top, and a conical opening in the open top that is unobstructed. In addition, the system includes a grommet mounted to the open bottom of the bottle such that the open bottom is substantially unobstructed. Lastly, the system includes a bowl with a conical exterior that is complementary in shape to the conical opening in the bottle. The bowl can form a conical, glass-to-glass seal with the bottle.
