    摘要: A sheet processing apparatus includes an aligning member and a shift conveying unit. The aligning member is movable in a width direction perpendicular to a sheet conveying direction and presses a sheet stack loaded on a sheet processing tray so as to align the sheet stack in the width direction. The unit is provided on the upstream side of the tray and conveys a sheet, shifting the sheet in the width direction. Being shifted by the unit, sheets are loaded at first and second loading positions on the tray. When sheets are loaded at the first loading position, the aligning member is moved to a first standby position corresponding to the first loading position in advance. When sheets are loaded at the second loading position, the aligning member is moved in advance to a second standby position corresponding to the second loading position.

    摘要: The zoom lens includes a plurality of lens units. The first lens unit is disposed closest to a magnification side in the plurality of lens units and has a negative optical power, and magnification-varying lens units that are disposed closer to a reduction side than the first lens unit and moves for variation of magnification. The first lens unit includes, in order from the magnification side, a first-A lens sub-unit having a negative optical power and a first-B lens sub-unit having a positive optical power. For focusing from an infinite side to a close side, the first-A and first-B lens sub-units move as a distance therebetween increases, and the first-B lens sub-unit moves toward the reduction side. The zoom lens is capable of correcting well variation of curvature of field due to a projection distance change and has a good optical performance.

    摘要: When a plurality of sub-processors are daisy chained in a loop, for example, to a main processor by a one-way bus, a command packet from the main processor addressed to itself is transmitted to the one-way bus which form a return path back to the main processor so as to easily specify a fault portion. If the command packet is returned to the main processor within a predetermined time, it is determined that no fault exists within the electronic device. When a fault exists, a test signal is transmitted to sub-processors via a dedicated signal line, separate from the one-way bus, to trigger a test packet that will be routed through the one way bus. The faulty portion in the electronic device is specified based on whether the test packet transmitted via the one-way bus in accordance with the test packet from each sub-processor is received within a predetermined time.

    摘要: An image forming apparatus includes upstream and downstream transport rollers for transporting a recording paper sheet. The upstream transport roller is disposed on the upstream side of a recording head while the downstream transport roller is disposed on the downstream side of the recording head. When forming an image on the first half area of the recording sheet, the upstream transport roller rotates and is responsible for transporting the recording sheet. When forming an image on the second half area of the recording sheet, the downstream transport roller rotates and is responsible for transporting the sheet. This structure provides printing without margins at the leading and trailing edges of the sheet. By adjusting the gap sizes between rollers in each of the upstream and the downstream rollers, the transport speed of the sheet is maintained constant so that high-quality print image can be obtained without uneven density in an image.
