摘要: A method for generating dummy frequencies to make frequency hard handover smooth in provision of a digital CDMA mobile communication service when base stations are different in frequency configuration. The coverage of each of the dummy frequencies becomes the same as that of a service frequency using basic signals of the service frequency. According to the present invention, a pilot channel signal, a sync channel signal, a paging channel signal and traffic channel signals of the service frequency are placed directly on each of the dummy frequencies. Therefore, the coverage of the dummy frequency can always become the same as that of the service frequency which is varied according to a traffic amount of the base station, so that a mobile station can perfectly perform the frequency hard handover. Further, one power combiner, one power amplifier and one power divider are provided to process all of the dummy frequencies. Therefore, a dummy frequency generation circuit can become simple in construction and be reduced in cost. Also, the system reliability is enhanced.

摘要: A network includes a Mobile Station (MS) for sending a Service Flow (SF) modification request message to a Base Station (BS) to modify an SF. The BS sends a path modification request message to a serving SF Authorization (SFA) when there is the information on the SF. The BS also sends an SF modification response message comprising a Confirmation Code ‘Reject SF not found’ to the MS when there is no information on the SF. The serving SFA sends a resource reservation request message to an anchor SFA when there is the information on the SF, and sends a path modification response message comprising a Failure Indication (FI) ‘Requested Context Unavailable’ to the BS when there is no information on the SF. The anchor SFA sends a resource reservation response message comprising the FI ‘Requested Context Unavailable’ to the serving SFA when there is no information on the SF.

摘要: An apparatus and method are provided for load balancing in a broadband communication system. In an initial network entry/network reentry/handover, whether to allow a user terminal and whether to allow each service flow are checked. The channel state and load state of candidate frequency assignments and subcells are detected. The ranging status of a corresponding frequency assignment or a corresponding subcell is set according to whether to allow the user terminal. The allowable candidate frequency assignment and subcells are selected and transmitted.

摘要: A method is provided for updating neighbor base station (BS) information by a serving BS in a communication system. The method includes acquiring a neighbor BS list from a base station controller (BSC); sending a request message for requesting an update of information on a neighbor BS to the at least one neighbor BS included in the neighbor BS list; checking if a report message including the neighbor BS's information is received from the neighbor BS; when the report message is received, sending to the neighbor BS a confirm message indicating the normal receipt of the report message; and updating the neighbor BS's information according to the received neighbor BS's information. The neighbor BS list is a list of BSs with which a mobile station (MS) located in a cell of the serving BS can perform a handover.

摘要: A method and apparatus of driving a liquid crystal panel to prevent an image distortion and a non-uniform phenomenon in the light transmissivity caused by propagation delay in a scanning wiring of the liquid crystal panel. Data signal voltages are supplied to a signal wiring with a predetermined time interval in accordance with a delay characteristic of a scanning signal in the scanning wiring. Accordingly, even when the scanning signal is delayed in the scanning wiring, the data signal voltages are accurately applied to all liquid crystal cells and hence a picture displayed on the liquid crystal panel is not distorted.
