Abstract:
Systems and methods for x-ray image identification are provided. The systems and methods associate patient information with image information. The method includes acquiring patient information from an identification member external to the digital x-ray detector and storing the patient information within the x-ray detector or on an image. The method further includes associating the patient information with the images acquired by the x-ray imaging system and communicating the acquired images with associated information to a host system when the x-ray detector is connected to the host system.
Abstract:
A computer implemented method, apparatus, and computer program product for processing aircraft software parts. A crate containing an aircraft software part is received from a source. Signatures are validated for the crate and the aircraft software part. If the signatures are valid, the crate is unpacked. The contents of the incoming crate are displayed. The aircraft software part is unpacked. Responsive to a request to upload the stored part to a library in the aircraft software part management apparatus, a determination is made as to whether the stored part meets a policy. If the stored part meets the policy, the part is signed. The signed part is placed in a crate and is signed to form a signed crate wherein signatures for the signed aircraft software part and the signed crate are different from the set of signatures in the incoming crate. The signed crate is sent to the library.
Abstract:
Systems and methods are provided for managing power consumption of a medical imaging detector by the use of triggering signals, environmental condition data, and/or determination of a variable time interval triggering event that is unique for each power consumption state. Systems and methods are provided for managing power and temperature of a device, after receiving a request for a function to be performed by the device determining an “on” trigger component, an “off” trigger component, associated circuits for performing the received function, providing power to the associated circuits upon the occurrence of the “on” trigger component, and removing power to the associated circuits upon the occurrence of the “off” trigger component. Further, an instruction is described for determining and displaying a variable time interval that is indicative of a time to change from one state to a desired state.
Abstract:
Systems and methods for performing schema matching of multiple data dictionaries. Lexical graphs are generated for two or more data dictionaries. The lexical graphs include terms with definitions and identified links between terms. A data processing device determines if matches occur between the generated lexical graphs and outputs the result of the determination.

Abstract:
A method for processing a fluoroscopic image includes generating a lag prediction model, scanning an object at a first radiation dosage with an imaging system including at least one radiation source and at least one detector array, and periodically updating the lag prediction model during the scan to generate at least one fluoroscopic image of the object.
Abstract:
A method and system for controlling a dynamic range of a medical diagnostic image provided by a medical diagnostic system. A target dynamic range is identified independent of a dynamic range of an original medical image. A presentation map is generated defining a relation between the dynamic range of the original medical image representative of a patient and the target dynamic range. A gray level-optical density model may define the relation between gray levels of the original medical image and target optical densities of the presentation map, the gray level-optical density model being calculated based on film characteristics, selected optical densities for anatomical structure or on a measured dynamic range. A presentation image is created having the target dynamic range based on a the presentation map and original medical image.
Abstract:
A method for processing X-ray image data includes exposing a digital detector to X-ray radiation. The method also includes sampling data via the digital detector including X-ray image data and offset image data. The method further includes calculating an average offset image without prior knowledge of a total number of offset image frames sampled.
Abstract:
A gain correction and calibration technique for digital imaging systems is provided. In one embodiment, a method may include acquiring a plurality of dark images via a digital detector of an X-ray system. Acquiring the plurality of dark images may include acquiring data from a plurality of data channels of the digital detector during an analog test mode of the digital detector in which calibration voltages are applied to the data channels. The method may also include calibrating a channel gain map of the detector based on the plurality of dark images. Additional systems, methods, and devices are also disclosed.
