摘要： An apparatus for dispensing a disposable glove and applying it to the hand of a user in which a stream of air drawn into an enclosed glove applying chamber through a constricted opening aligned with the heel of the glove inflates the topmost glove in a stack of gloves in the chamber so that a user can readily insert his hand into the glove. After the user has donned the glove on the hand, a wall of the chamber is opened to permit the user to readily withdraw his hand from the glove applying chamber while the air flow which originally inflated the topmost glove is disrupted. Upon closures of the chamber wall, the re- established air flow automatically inflates the next lower glove in the glove stack to prepare the next glove for receipt of another hand.

摘要： The present invention describes a label comprising a shrinkable film material section with a leading end, a trailing end, an upper edge portion and a lower edge portion, where the upper edge portion and the lower edge portions extend between the leading end and the trailing end of the section, wherein the section is wrapped around an article with the leading end secured to the article with a patterned adhesive, and the adhesive is confined to a narrow region of the leading end such that the trailing end overlaps and is secured to the leading end by the patterned adhesive, and the adhesive is also confined to a narrow region of said trailing edge, allowing the section to encircle the article in an initially unshrunken or first condition such that when a catalyst is subsequently applied to the section, the section shrinks around the article and is thus securely adhered to the article by the adhesive at both the leading end and the trailing end of the film section. The section may be comprised of foamed, cellular, or stabilized film and may also include a liner.

摘要： A technique for estimating the location of a wireless terminal at an unknown location in a geographic region is disclosed. The technique is based on the recognition that there are traits of electromagnetic signals that are dependent on topography, the receiver, the location of the transmitter, and other factors. For example, if a particular radio station is known to be received strongly at a first location and weakly at a second location, and a given wireless terminal at an unknown location is receiving the radio station weakly, it is more likely that the wireless terminal is at the second location than at the first location.

摘要： Driveline lash and clunk are controlled in a powertrain system having multiple torque-generative and torque control devices using a multivariable feedback control approach to provide active driveline damping. Control parameters used by a state estimator are different, depending on whether the driveline lash is taken up or is currently slack. When the estimated driveline axle torque is not substantially zero, the nominal parameters for transmission mode or gear are used in the state estimator. When the estimated axle torque is substantially zero, the parameters are switched to neutral parameters, the lash estimator indicates neutral lash state, and angle of lash is tracked until it accumulates an expected amount of lash in the driveline. During a lash transition time, active damping controls the driveline component speeds so that the effect of lash take-up is minimized. After lash take-up occurs, desired axle torque is used by the system.

The device also includes a navigation controller comprising navigation keys for allowing a user to navigate between the displayed objects by pressing a portion of the navigation controller corresponding to a navigation key last pressed to navigate between the displayed objects, wherein the device is configured to allow the user to select a currently displayed object without moving a finger from the portion of the navigation controller corresponding to the navigation key last pressed to navigate between the displayed objects, thereby implementing navigation and select functions on a single portion of the controller.
