摘要： A molded plastic garment hanger as is widely used for the purpose of shipping and displaying garments, comprising a unitary plastic central hook and arms extending in opposite directions from the base of the central hook to facilitate a garment to be suspended therefrom by garment clips. The garment clips enable the attachment of various kinds of garments thereto, such as underwear, slips, brassieres, swimwear and the like, and are particularly adapted to secure the shoulder straps of such garments. The garment hanger has an improved garment retaining clip wherein as a garment strap is inserted into the garment retaining clip, the garment receiving channel of the clip first opens to allow the garment strap to enter, and then closes to securely retain the garment and to prevent it from becoming accidentally dislodged therefrom. The clip further defines a stop formation that is not substantially aligned with the free end of said inner arm, which blocks access to said free space by a garment strap secured by the clip.

摘要： A molded plastic garment hanger having an improved indicator detachment opening is disclosed, wherein the hanger has a hook with a web adjacent said hook and a hanger body, wherein the web is received within a cavity of a molded plastic indicator having side walls. The web and the indicator combining to provide a security means to prevent unauthorized removal of the indicator. The web is formed with a detachment opening formed in the web which extends through the security means and under said indicator to allow the indicator to be removed with a detachment wedge inserted in said opening. A method and apparatus for removing the indicator from the web is also provided by inserting a reciprocal wedge mounted on a first plate into the opening defined in the web to displace the indicator and thereby release the indicator from the web without damaging either the indicator or the hanger. The present invention contemplates automated as well as manual removal of the indicator from the hanger and provides a method and device therefor.

摘要： A molded plastic garment hanger having an improved indicator attachment device is disclosed, wherein the hanger has a hook with an upstanding web to be received within a downwardly opening cavity of a molded plastic indicator having side walls formed with openings. The web is formed with attachment means in the form of a resilient detent formed with a laterally projecting portion positioned to engage the opening to prevent removal of the indicator from the hook unless the resilient detent is physically displaced from the opening to facilitate release of indicator from the hook. In a second embodiment the indicator has end walls with retention apertures and the web is formed with attachment means in the form of at least one resilient leg extending downwardly and outwardly from the upper side portion of the web. The leg is formed with a laterally projecting portion positioned to engage the retention aperture to prevent removal of the indicator from the hook unless the resilient leg is displaced from the retention aperture to facilitate release of the indicator from the hook.

摘要： In a combination of a garment hanger and a reusable indicator for displaying garment-related information, the indicator can be attached to and removed from a lower neck region of the hanger where a hanger post intersects the hanger body. The hanger includes an indicator retaining member for providing indicator retaining interference with the indicator to retain the indicator at the lower neck region. The hanger further includes structure for providing pivots upon which the indicator can be flexed to remove the indicator from the hanger. The indicator can include a discontinuity for admitting a hanger hook and assisting deformation of the indicator. The indicator can be deformed along the discontinuity to remove the indicator from the hanger.

摘要： In a combination of an intimate apparel hanger and an indicator for displaying garment-related information, the indicator is mounted to a lower neck region of the hanger where the hanger hook intersects the hanger body. The hanger has a flange, having a sloped surface and an undersurface. The indicator has a resilient tab disposed in a wall of the indicator body. The resilient tab is outwardly displaced by the sloped surface to expand the top opening of the indicator to allow the indicator to pass over the flange. The undersurface of the flange retains the indicator at the lower neck region after the indicator passes over the flange.
