Abstract:
Provided is a method for channel searching for enabling a medical body area network (MBAN) terminal, which operates in an allocated frequency band, to use another frequency band. The method may comprise the steps of receiving an identifier of a specific channel group, from among a plurality of channel groups, from an MBAN coordinator in the allocated frequency band; and searching for a channel in a channel group relating to the received identifier of the channel group in a different frequency band. The identifier of the channel group indicates a channel group including channels that the terminal preferentially searches for in the other frequency band.
Abstract:
According to one embodiment of the present invention, provided is a frequency band (FB) determination method of a wireless access device which provides an access point to enable one or more terminals to wirelessly access a network. The method may comprise the steps of receiving database-related information from database servers which have database related to unused FBs of a television broadcasting band (TVBB), determining a database server to be accessed among the database servers on the basis of the database-related information, requesting the determined database server and receiving information on available FBs, and determining FBs, among the received operating FBs, for the one or more terminals. The operating FBs are determined by the database server so that the wireless access device can coexist with a neighboring homogeneous or heterogeneous wireless access device without mutual interference within the TVBB.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for generating a traffic indicator map in a wireless communication system, as described below, and the method comprises the following steps: dividing into at least one group a virtual bitmap comprising displayed values of association IDs (AIDs) of stations that are coupled to an access point; saving a first portion, which includes a first display value but does not include a first AID for receiving data from the access point, in a virtual bitmap of each of the divided groups as an offset value in a bitmap control field, the first portion including a first display value but not including a first AID for receiving data from the access point; setting a second portion from the virtual bitmap of each of the divided groups as a partial virtual bitmap field, the second portion being the portion excluding the first portion; and generating the traffic indicator map including the bitmap control field and the partial virtual bitmap field for each of the divided groups.
Abstract:
A method for a user equipment switching an operation channel in a wireless personal area network (WPAN), disclosed in the present invention, comprises the following steps: setting a PAN coordinator and an association for a first frequency band; receiving from the PAN coordinator of the first frequency band information for channel switching to a second frequency band; and setting the PAN coordinator and the association for the second frequency band based on the switching information that is received.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for smoothly switching between services to allow networks or devices to coexist. The method of switching between services of a television band device (TVBD) network or device includes: receiving a request for switching between services of the TVBD network or device from a coexistence manager (CM); and transmitting a response with respect to the request to the CM, wherein the services include an information service obtaining, by the TVBD network or device, neighbor information of the TVBD network or device from the CM and a management service providing measurement results to the CM by the TVBD network or device, and the response includes an indicator indicating whether or not the request has been successfully processed.
