    摘要: This invention provides an image processing device and an image processing method capable of generating synthetic image data containing effective image information without being influenced by the variation of the photographing environment. A correcting portion updates (shifts) a “brightness” upper and lower limit range according to a deviation ΔE received from a deviation calculating portion. The correcting portion accepts an initial value Emax0 of the “brightness” upper limit and an initial value Emin0 of the lower limit in advance, so that the “brightness” upper limit and lower limit after update is (Emax0+ΔE) and (Emin0+ΔE), respectively. The “brightness” upper and lower limit range after the update calculated by the correcting portion is provided to a tone mapping unit.

    摘要: This invention provides an image processing device and an image processing method capable of implementing pattern matching based on an edge code at relatively high speed with a smaller circuit configuration. In the image processing device according to the present embodiment, an information amount of a valid zone is diffused over an entire edge code image. In other words, the amount of information used in the entire edge code image is compressed by reducing the number of bits to assign to each pixel and effectively using the number of bits assigned to each pixel as a whole. If a valid zone for an edge EDG1, the following invalid zone in which the invalid edge code value continues, and the following valid zone for an edge EDG2 appear in a profile of the edge code value, increase/decrease information from the edge code value contained in the valid zone for the edge EDG1 to the edge code value contained in the valid zone for the edge EDG2 is assigned to the element corresponding to the invalid zone.

    摘要: An edge code histogram of a model generated in a model image is registered. A target region with respect to the input image is set. An edge code histogram for the target region is generated. A relative positional relationship between the edge code histogram of the model and the edge code histogram for the target region is sequentially changed, and a degree of coincidence between the edge code histograms at each relative position is calculated. A possibility that the region that matches the model is contained in the set target region from the sequentially calculated degree of coincidence between the edge code histograms is evaluated. Then a candidate point having a possibility of matching the model in the input image is specified while sequentially changing the position of the target region with respect to the input image and repeating steps above for each target region.

    摘要: An external I/F gives numerical information on an imaging device, input from PC or PLC, to a memory. The memory outputs the numerical information to CPU as well as retaining the numerical information. CPU transmits the numerical information through a camera to an operation control unit. The operation control unit performs correction using a correction value from a correction table. In order to correct a variation individually possessed by a lens unit or an illumination unit, the correction table is previously produced for each lens unit or illumination unit based on the numerical information from the camera. The post-correction control signals are output to a lens unit 62 and an illumination unit.
