    摘要: A digital data processing circuit has an inverting circuit for inverting a positive/negative sign of the output data of an encoding circuit. A correcting circuit returns the inverted sign of the data to an original sign of data after decoding. Offset is made for truncation noises caused by the respective filtering operations in the encoding circuit and said decoding circuit. Sound quality is suppressed from degrading without increasing the circuit scale.

    摘要: A digital-to-analog converting device, particularly useful in audio device such as compact disc players, including an adder (CA; CA1, CA2) for adding a common random data to a digital data (d) supplied at a constant period and to a sign-reversed data (d), respectively. The signals containing the added random data are converted into analog form by a digital-to-analog converter (DT; DT1, DT2). The difference is taken between the analog signals obtained from the digital data (d) containing the added random data and the sign-reversed data (d) containing the added random data. Such circuit arrangement can provide an analog ouput signal having an amplitude which is twice as large as that obtained by the prior art and yet the resistance thermal noise contained in such analog signal has a reduced relative magnitude, whereby an improvement in signal-to-noise ratio and in tone quality can be achieved.

    摘要: In a heat exchanger comprising a plurality of first heat-transfer elements (A) for a fluid of higher temperature and second heat-transfer elements (B) for a fluid of lower temperature joined alternately and adjacently and a suitable number of appropriately shaped fins disposed within said elements and wherein the heat exchange is performed between the fluid (a) of higher temperature and the fluid (b) of lower temperature and at least the fluid (a) is changed in phase during the heat exchange, the improvement of providing such a heat exchanger with the ability to rectify the condensate from the fluid (a) and to recover the rectified liquid, wherein the fins in the lower part of the element (A) are so arranged that the fluid (a) entering from a port into the element (A) flows upwards smoothly with contact with the liquid condensed from the fluid (a) at the upper part of the element (A), which flows down through the heat exchanger. The condensed liquid flows down through the fins and is taken out from a port provided at the lowest part of the element (A). Accordingly, condensation of a gaseous fluid and rectification of the resulting condensate are both performed with high efficiency in the same apparatus.
