Herbicidal compositions containing (a) fluroxypyr or an agriculturally acceptable salt or ester thereof and (b) flumetsulam or an agriculturally acceptable salt thereof provide synergistic herbicidal control of undesirable vegetation, e.g., in wheat, barley, oats, rye, sugarcane, rice, sorghum, corn/maize, soybean, rice, sunflower, canola/oilseed rape, sugarcane, sorghum, cotton, pastures, grasslands, rangelands, fallowland, turf, tree and vine orchards, industrial vegetation management and rights-of-way; or crops comprising an aad-12 gene. Also provided herein are methods of using herbicidal compositions containing (a) fluroxypyr or an agriculturally acceptable salt or ester thereof and (b) flumetsulam or an agriculturally acceptable salt thereof.

Methods for controlling weeds using synergistic compositions containing penoxsulam, triclopyr, and bispyribac, especially rice, sugarcane, cereal and grain crops, pastures, rangelands, industrial vegetation management (IVM), aquatics and turf, as well as protecting crops from herbicidal injury caused by any of the individual components. These methods provide improved post-emergence herbicidal weed control and reduce herbicidal injury by concomitant application of the mixture.

Provided herein are herbicidal compositions containing of (a) fluroxypyr or an agriculturally acceptable ester or salt thereof and (b) an ALS-inhibiting herbicide, wherein the ALS-inhibiting herbicide is diclosulam, cloransulam, chlorimuron, or thifensulfuron, or an agriculturally acceptable ester or salt thereof. The compositions provide synergistic weed control of undesirable vegetation in areas including, but not limited to, soybean, cotton, corn, sorghum, sunflower, sugarcane, sugar beets, alfalfa, cereals (including but not limited to wheat, barley, rice and oats), non-crop, fallow-bed, perennial crop, fruiting crop, or plantation crop areas.
