    摘要: Embodiments of a conditioning head for in-situ conditioning and/or cleaning a processing pad of a CMP, ECMP, or other processing system are provided. In one embodiment, the conditioning head includes a brush disposed in a central cavity. A cleaning fluid is provided through the central cavity of the conditioning head to a processing pad. The brush spins and moves laterally across the surface of the processing pad. The cleaning solution dispensed through the conditioning head dissolves by-products of the processing operation while the brush gently wipes the processing pad. A lip of the conditioning head retains the cleaning fluid and cleaning waste, thereby minimizing contamination of the area outside of the conditioning head. The cleaning waste is removed from the processing pad via passages formed near the outer periphery of the conditioning head.

    摘要: Methods and apparatus for providing converged communication services in a communication system are disclosed. A first endpoint of the system communicates with at least a second endpoint of the system via session initiation protocol (SIP). At least a portion of the SIP communication is controlled utilizing an application layer overlay framework which permits substantially simultaneous operation of the first endpoint in two application layer protocols, the two application layer protocols including SIP and web services protocol. The web services protocol may illustratively comprise an application layer web services transport protocol such as SOAP/HTTP. The application overlay framework comprises a web services interface, with the web services interface being configured to permit access to information associated with the SIP communication by one or more communication service applications of the system.

    摘要: A system and method for providing a wavelength division multiplexer is disclosed. In one aspect, the system and method include providing a housing for the wavelength division multiplexer. The housing includes a first port having a first aperture therein, a second port having a second aperture and a first plurality of apertures therein, and a third port having a third aperture and a second plurality of apertures therein. The second and third apertures are coupled to the first aperture. The first plurality of apertures are disposed symmetrically around the second aperture. The second plurality of apertures are disposed symmetrically around the third aperture. In another aspect, the method and system include providing a wavelength division multiplexer. The wavelength division multiplexer includes a first port including a first collimator, a second port coupled to the first port, and a third port coupled to the first port. The second port includes a second collimator and a first plurality of joints for affixing the second collimator. The first plurality of joints is disposed symmetrically around the second collimator. The third port includes a third collimator and a second plurality of joints for affixing the third collimator. The second plurality of joints is disposed symmetrically around the third collimator.

    摘要: A system for enabling communication between a first domain and a second domain is disclosed. At least the first domain is protected by a firewall. A first data-processing system is provided in the first domain and a second data-processing system provided in second domain. The second domain hosts an application that the first domain desires to access. To enable the communication between the two domains a tunnel is established through the firewall. The tunnel runs from the first data-processing system to the second data-processing system. The second data-processing system provides a web-proxy interface to interface to the application and also acts as a tunnel gateway.

The sensor has a magnetoresistive sensing element and magnetic shields shielding the magnetoresistive sensing element. The magnetic shields include a first plated soft ferromagnetic layer, a second plated soft ferromagnetic layer, and an antiferromagnetic coupling (AFC) trilayer between the first plated soft ferromagnetic layer and the second plated soft ferromagnetic layer. The AFC trilayer includes a first AFC layer of sputtered ferromagnetic material; a second AFC layer of a nonmagnetic antiferromagnetic exchange material, and a third AFC layer of sputtered ferromagnetic material. Shields with AFC trilayers in bottom, side, and/or top shields, and well as between shields are provided. A method of fabricating is also provided.
