摘要: The present invention relates to an equipment which converts various data, including exposure setting data, for a photograph into codes so as to be stored in a register in order that the data stored in the register is later decoded and registered on the film. The equipment comprises a decoder for reading out and decoding the stored data in accordance with a signal corresponding to the feeding of the film and a plural number of registering heads operated by means of the output of the decoder, whereby the stored data is registered on the film in general indications such as letters or figures.

摘要: The disclosed control system controls the diaphragm aperture of a camera in accordance with a preselected shutter time. A diaphragm scanner produces one pulse for each change of one stop in the size of aperture opening. When the required value of the diaphragm aperture, as determined in Apex form, is a number having an integer and a decimal fraction, the diaphragm aperture is adjusted in accordance with the integer, and the shutter time is adjusted to a value obtained by factoring the decimal fraction into the preset value of shutter time. Corresponding adjustment of the shutter time assures a one-eighth-stop accuracy in exposure control despite the diaphragm aperture being varied in one-stop increments.

摘要: This invention relates to cameras capable of making exposures in shutter priority, or manual and program modes. Since in the program mode the shutter time and diaphragm aperture are unequivocally determined, the computed value of shutter time is liable to exceed a limit such that effects of shaking of the operator's hand become noticeable. The present invention solves this problem by making use of the shutter dial used for selection of the shutter priority or manual mode to set the limit value. When a longer shutter time than this limit is derived, the diaphragm aperture is readjusted in accordance with this limit of shutter time and the object brightness, while the shutter is adjusted to that limit value.

摘要: A focus detecting system for detecting focusing condition of an image forming optical system to an object. In this system there are produced first and second signals corresponding to imaging conditions of object images at first and second positions on front and rear sides of and at substantially equal distances from a predetermined focal plane of said optical system, respectively, and another signal corresponding to imaging condition of an object image at third position substantially coincident with said predetermined focal plane. In accordance with these first, second and third signals, a decision is given as to the focusing condition, namely, in-focus, near-focus or far-focus condition, as well as, the distinction between correctly focused condition and considerably defocused condition.

摘要: A focal point detection system for detecting the focus adjusting state of an image forming lens during its focusing operation on an object is disclosed. The system comprises a focus detection circuit which produces a detection output that varies with focusing of the lens on the object; a plurality of display elements are provided for display of the focusing state of the lens; and a display control circuit which enables the display elements to display a greater number of focusing states than the number of these display elements through selective combinations of these elements on the basis of the output of the focus detection circuit. The system is capable of displaying intermediate focusing states such as a slightly near-focus state, a slightly far-focus state, and the like in addition to in-focus, near-focus, and far-focus states, so that the focusing state can be displayed stepwise in a detailed manner.

摘要: In the disclosed focus adjusting device, at least part of an image forming optical system and a focus adjusting mechanism is arranged within a housing attachable to and detachable from a camera body. A focus condition detector includes a photo-sensor disposed on a plane corresponding to the camera image plane, an electrical detection circuit connected to the photo-sensor, and a detecting optical system for forming an image of at least a part of the object on the surface of the photo-sensor. An aural indicator emits a sound to inform a photographer of the condition of the image formed on the surface of the predetermined focal plane as determined by the focusing condition detector.
