摘要: A method of mixing pulverulent materials and a device for practicing the method. In this method, the pulverulent material constituting a main material is continuously fed to a conveyor duct connected to a molding machine in fixed quantities while air is being fed to under pressure or drawn from the duct and simultaneously the pulverulent material constituting compounding ingredient material is fed to the duct at a specified value so that a mixing ration is maintained at a specified value. And in the method, a mixing ratio is changeable by variably controlling the amount of supply of compounding ingredient to the main material while feeding air into the duct or drawing air from the duct. In addition, the device is constructed of a pneumatic closed loop duct type and comprises a closed looplike duct, a pulverized reclaimed material feed unit, a virgin material feed unit, and a control means for regulate a mixed ratio.

摘要: A step motor driving control mechanism for use in an electronic timepiece for reducing the current consumption thereof is provided. Load detection circuitry detects the load condition of the step motor and selectively produces a load condition signal representative of a predetermined load condition thereof. Driving and control circuitry is provided for receiving a low frequency timekeeping signal produced by a divider circuit and a load detection signal when same is selectively produced by the load detection circuitry. In response to the presence or absence of a load detection signal applied thereto, the drive and control circuitry is adapted to vary the duration of the pulse width of a drive signal applied to the step motor to effect a driving of same.

摘要: An ink-on-demand type ink jet printer includes an ink jet head assembly having a printer head and an ink container integrally joined to the printer head. The printer head includes a pressure chamber and ink supply and ejection flow passages communicating respectively therewith. The ink container includes therein a narrow air-bubble blocking tube opening directly into a lower portion of the interior of the ink container and which connects the ink supply flow passage to the ink container. A vent hole is defined in an upper portion of the ink container. The ink container includes a wall surface with the wall surface not trapping air bubbles, with a surface of the vent hole being coated with a defoaming agent.

摘要: An electronic musical instrument for reading out and performing musical tone data previously stored in a memory is disclosed. In the musical instrument, pitch data of a musical piece or pieces are previously stored in the memory. Desired pitch data stored are read out by operating a corresponding key arranged on a keyboard. A tone generator forms a musical tone signal on the basis of the pitch data for sounding the musical tone. When the keyboard is functionally divided into two groups, the musical tone for melody and/or accompaniment of the musical piece may be read out through the operation of the functionally divided keyboard.

摘要: A sluice valve arrangement is adapted to make an air-tight partition or communication between a vacuum treatment chamber and the atmosphere or a pre-chamber. This arrangement includes a valve seat member comprising a cylindrical or spherical member having therein an opening, a pair of guide rails attached to the inner circumference of the seat member, a valve member movably supported on the guide rails, and means for air-tight engagement of the valve member and the valve seat portion of the seat member. The valve member has a curvature equal to that of the cylindrical or spherical member, and the engagement means comprises a plurality of bellows expandable by a compressed gas or air.

摘要: A metal wire-containing polymeric laminate tape is continuously produced by superimposing a pair of primary cross-linked, electro-insulating thermoplastic polymer tapes side by side along the longitudinal axes thereof under tension, while a plurality of metal wires are interposed, under tension, in parallel to each other, between the primary tapes along the longitudinal axes thereof; by heating the resultant precursory laminate tape up to a temperature of from 10.degree. to 120.degree. C. above the melting point of the corresponding thermoplastic polymer, which is not cross-linked; by pressing the heated precursory laminate tape by using a pair of elastic pressing rolls, whereby the primary tapes are heat-bonded together to provide a body of laminate matrix within which the metal wires are embedded; and, optionally, by cooling the resultant laminate tape.

摘要: A means for detecting helium which has flowed into a system by substitution for air at a leaking location and mixed with the remaining gases, and after the helium gas permeates a helium permeable membrane as a sample gas so that the air component unnecessary for detection is suppressed, the helium gas enters the space of a mass spectrometer tube. That is, the membrane suppresses the permeation of the air component and selectively allows the helium component to pass therethrough, so that the helium component ratio in the space of the spectrometer tube is made larger than that in the sample gas. The helium partial pressure in the gas with thus increased helium component is determined by the mass spectrometer. The change in the helium partial pressure in the spectrometer tube is produced depending on the substitution between the air component gases and the helium gas at the leak location. After the helium component is increased by the function of the membrane, the leakage and its amount may be more easily and accurately detected.Further, a helium gas or gases having an appropriate helium concentration sealed under pressure in a system may be sucked in as a sample gas when leaking out through a leaking location and introduced into a membrane disposed at an appropriate position to the spectrometer tube, and then leakage in a system is detected by the foregoing method. These systems are, for example, vacuum or high pressure tanks, pipings, etc.
