摘要： A surge absorber has a first terminal electrode, a second terminal electrode, a third terminal electrode, an inductor portion, a surge absorbing portion, and a resistor portion. The inductor portion has a first internal conductor and a second internal conductor mutually coupled in a polarity-reversed relation. One end of the first internal conductor is connected to the first terminal electrode. One end of the second internal conductor is connected to the second terminal electrode. The other end of the first internal conductor is connected to the other end of the second internal conductor. The surge absorbing portion has a first internal electrode and a second internal electrode. The first internal electrode is connected to the other end of the first internal conductor and to the other end of the second internal conductor. The second internal electrode is connected to the third terminal electrode. The resistor portion has a DC resistance component connected between the first terminal electrode and the second terminal electrode.

摘要： A connector which can reduce electrostatic surges without deteriorating high-speed signals is provided. The connector in accordance with the first embodiment of the present invention comprises a first terminal, a second terminal connected to the first terminal, and a surge absorbing circuit provided between the first and second terminals. The surge absorbing circuit comprises (a) a first inductor having one end connected to the first terminal; (b) a second inductor, electromagnetically coupled to the first inductor, having one end connected to the other end of the first inductor and the other end connected to the second terminal; and (c) a surge absorbing element having one end connected to the other end of the first inductor and the one end of the second inductor and the other end connected to a ground terminal.

摘要： A multilayer chip varistor comprises a multilayer body and a pair of external electrodes formed on the multilayer body. The multilayer body has a varistor section and a pair of outer layer sections disposed so as to interpose said varistor section. The varistor section comprises a varistor layer developing a voltage nonlinear characteristic and a pair of internal electrodes disposed so as to interpose the varistor layer. The pair of external electrodes are connected to respective electrodes of the pair of internal electrodes. The relative dielectric constant of the outer layer sections is set lower than the relative dielectric constant of the region where the pair of internal electrodes in the varistor layer overlap each other.

An information processing device includes: a storage case searching unit that accepts a data storage request from an input interface and searches cases in which data can be stored in a data center having a free capacity of at least the size of the storage data, as indicated in the data storage request and a data center table; a storage cost calculation unit that calculates the storage cost required for each case; a default cost calculation unit that calculates the default cost required for each case; and a case selection unit that calculates the total cost for each case and selects whether the data is stored in the data center or whether a data storage request is made to the data center, according to the case for which the total cost is a minimum.

摘要： Vector registers having logically equal address are arranged as two banks which can independently access ultra high speed RAM's. One bank holds all even-numbered elements of vector data and the other bank holds all odd-numbered elements of the vector data. A write address generator and a read address generator which are one half as fast as a clock rate of a machine cycle and which have a phase difference of one half period therebetween are provided so that the clock rate of the machine cycle may be set to one half of a total time of a write pitch and a read pitch of the vector registers.
