摘要: A device for inserting a weft yarn in a shed of the jet operated weaving machine provided with a control means for controlling the carrying action of the weft yarn, which is carried by a plurality of pressure fluid flows through a guiding channel formed in a comb arranged in parallel condition to a reed. The comb comprises a plurality of guiding plates and an air escaping passage formed between every two adjacent guide plates in such a condition that the quantity of the escaping air which flows through each escaping passage is maximum at a predetermined portion of each escaping passage. The above-mentioned control means comprises the above-mentioned escaping passages.

摘要: A sealing cup to be used for a hydraulic piston-cylinder device the cup having an outer lip with a leading edge adapted to slide along a wall when fitted in the device. The angle .alpha. of the leading edge with respect to the cylinder axis is made smaller than the angle of a portion other than the leading edge with respect thereto, and is made as 1.degree..ltoreq..alpha..ltoreq.15.degree. in the free condition of the cup. When the sealing cup is installed to be slid in the cylinder, a wedge-shaped clearance is formed between the leading edge and the cylinder wall due to provision of the angle .alpha., thereby admitting the fluid therein to decrease the slide resistance of the sealing cup.

摘要: The present invention discloses a separating and purifying (4R, 6R)-4-hydroxy-2,2,6-trimethyl cyclohexanone comprising the steps of:reacting a diastereomer mixture of (4R, 6R)-4-hydroxy-2,2,6-trimethyl cyclohexanone represented by the formula (I) ##STR1## and (4S, 6R)-4-hydroxy-2,2,6-trimethyl cyclohexanone represented by the formula (II) ##STR2## with a reagent which reacts with the hydroxyl groups at least equimolar to the compound represented by the formula (II) to thereby convert the compound represented by the formula (II) into (4S, 6R)-4-hydroxy-2,2,6-trimethyl cyclohexanone derivative represented by the formula (III) ##STR3## (where R represents a group modifying the hydroxyl group) by modification with priority of the hydroxyl group in the formula (II), andseparating the compound of the formula (I) from the compound of the formula (III) through the difference in solubility to water or an organic solvent. According to the invention, (4R, 6R)-4-hydroxy-2,2,6-trimethyl cyclohexanone is easily separated with a high yield.

摘要: An active suspension apparatus detects a relative displacement (x) between an axle and a vehicle body, discriminates a road surface state in accordance with the relative displacement and a change rate (x) in unit time which is derived from the relative displacement (x), and optimally controls characteristics of damping forces of hydropneumatic suspensions in accordance with a discrimination result (i.e., a road surface state). This discrimination is performed in accordance with a sum (Ax+Bx) of a signal obtained by multiplying the relative displacement (x) with a predetermined coefficient and a signal obtained by multiplying the change rate (x) with another predetermined coefficient. These coefficients are obtained in accordance with riding comfort against vibrations. The characteristics of the damping force of the hydropneumatic suspension are controlled by controlling the opening of throttle valves disposed between hydropneumatic chambers and actuators.

摘要: The tire for automobiles being measured is loaded in advance by the load applying means and the drum is driven to rotate the tire. A displacement of the rotatable shaft produced in response to a variation in the radial force acting between the tire and the drum is detected as a displacement of the movable member. The movable member is movable with respect to the drum about a fulcrum which lies in or is located in the vicinity of a plane including a surface in which the drum and the tire are held against each other. Thus any influence by a moment due to a lateral force imposed on the tire can be eliminated, and the apparatus can measure a radial force variation with precision.
