    摘要： A display device includes independently driven common and segment terminals. The common and segment terminals are connected to display components divided into display blocks that are turned ON to perform a display function and are turned OFF so as to not perform the display function. A first driver drives the common terminals using a scanning signal of a predetermined period and a second driver drives the segment terminals using a segment signal synchronized with the scanning signal to correspond to a display signal, so that the display components perform a display corresponding to the display signal. The first driver separates the common terminals into common terminal blocks and drives the common terminals. The first and second drivers perform the driving so that the common and segment terminals which are connected to display blocks that are turned OFF are not supplied with a turn-off signal and are maintained at ground potential.

    摘要： A mimeographic printing machine general comprises: a rotary plate cylinder for supporting a stencil on an outer circumferential surface thereof and having a perforation for passage of ink, the plate cylinder being rotatable with the stencil; means for supplying the ink to an inner circumferential surface of the plate cylinder; a squeegee movably received in the plate cylinder so as to come into and out of contact with the inner circumferential surface of the plate cylinder, the squeegee being operable to squeeze the ink from the supplying means toward the outer circumferential surface of the plate cylinder through the perforation of the plate cylinder; and a rod-shaped member rotatably received in the plate cylinder. The rod-shaped member is located behind the squeegee in the rotating direction of the plate cylinder and is movable with the squeegee for jointly holding the ink.

    摘要： In a chronograph timepiece of a construction in which chronograph hands are electrically drive-controlled and mechanically zero-restoring-controlled, even when backlash is generated due to zero-restoring, the chronograph hands are normally moved at the time of the next time measurement start. A chronograph timepiece includes a drive control unit starting a time measurement operation in response to a start operation of a start/stop button, electrically hand-movement-driving chronograph hands by driving a chronograph hand movement motor according to the time measured, and resetting the time measurement operation in response to a reset operation of a reset button, and a mechanical structure mechanically zero-restoring and setting the chronograph hands in response to the reset operation, wherein the drive control unit drives the chronograph hand movement motor by a predetermined amount even after the reset operation has been performed.

    摘要： In a stencil printing device, a plurality of printing drums are mounted on a turret-like printing drum supporting member, and the indexing rotary movement of the printing drum supporting member and the rotary actuation of each of the printing drums thereon are effected by a common motor without regard to the number of the printing drums so that the overall structure can be simplified, and the control of the indexing rotary movement of the planetary plate disk and the rotary actuation of each of the printing drums can be accomplished in a centralized manner. The present invention is particularly useful in a stencil printing for full color printing.
