摘要： A tool storage magazine of the type wherein a circulatable endless chain pivotably carries a plurality of tool storage sockets is provided with a cradle member adapted to carry thereon any of the tool sockets indexed to an exchange position and a mechanism for pivoting the cradle member between horizontal and vertical positions. The magazine is further provided with a locking mechanism which prevents a holding plunger of any tool socket indexed to the exchange position from being disengaged from a tool received in the tool socket until the cradle member is pivoted to the vicinity of the vertical position so that the dropping of a tool from an associated tool socket is reliably prevented during pivotal movement of the cradle member.

摘要： A pH adjusting system includes a water pit for refueling 35 that is disposed in a reactor container 10, which stores a reactor, and is capable of storing cooling water and a pH adjusting apparatus 37 that is disposed above the water pit for refueling 35 and houses a pH adjuster. The pH adjusting apparatus 37 causes a pH-adjusted solution generated by dissolving or mixing the pH adjuster to flow out to the water pit for refueling 35 below the pH adjusting apparatus 37. Consequently, even when it is difficult to dispose the pH adjusting apparatus on a floor of the water pit for refueling, it is possible to suitably perform pH adjustment in the reactor container 10.

摘要： A wheelchair T is driven by hybrid control of a fuel cell 3 and a rechargeable battery 5. The wheelchair is driven by a motor M to which electric power is supplied from the fuel cell 3 and the rechargeable battery 5. Electric power is supplied to the motor by hydraulic control based on load fluctuations corresponding to the travel conditions of the wheelchair T. The electric energy generated by the fuel cell 3 is kept at a constant level, and the energy of the lithium-ion battery 5 is additionally used when a high load is applied to the motor such as when the wheelchair is ascending a slope. When excess energy is generated by the fuel cell 3, the lithium-ion battery 5 is charged with the excess energy, thereby minimizing the possibility of exhaustion of the lithium-ion battery 5 so that the wheelchair can travel a long distance. By using a rechargeable battery that is resistant to load fluctuations, the wheelchair can be driven smoothly. By keeping the output of the fuel cell to a constant level, it is possible to prolong its life span. By charging the rechargeable battery with constant electric energy, the load on the rechargeable battery during charging is small, so that the life span of the rechargeable battery can be prolonged too.

For example, a consumer (1) in subscribers (1 to N) which are customers, requests design information to a host computer (H) of the watch maker which is a watch supplier, through the internet, the watch maker provides, for example, a CD-ROM stored design software and data used for original design to the consumer. The consumer creates the original design watch in accordance with steps stored in the CD-ROM, records it into a FD (floppy disk) and sends it to the watch maker. The watch maker produces the original watch and delivers the completed watch to the consumer (FIG. 1).
