Abstract: A method is provided for sending a computer program from a server to a computer the computer program causing the computer to execute instructions, including setting a second exposure time of the image sensor so that a plurality of bright lines corresponding to a plurality of exposure lines included in an image sensor appear according to a change in luminance of a subject. The instructions also include obtaining a bright line image including the plurality of bright lines, wherein the exposure starts sequentially for the plurality of exposure lines each at a different time. The exposure of each of the plurality of exposure lines starts after a predetermined blank time elapses from when exposure of an adjacent exposure line adjacent to the exposure line ends, and the second exposure time is shorter than the first exposure time.

Abstract: An information communication method selects between a visible light communication mode in which information is obtained from a subject using an image sensor having a plurality of exposure lines and a normal imaging mode. The method includes obtaining first image data by image capture with a first exposure time in the normal imaging mode. When an image is presented that prompts a user of a terminal device including the image sensor to move the terminal device to enable the information to be obtained, second image data is obtained by image capture with a second exposure time, shorter than the first exposure time, in the visible light communication mode. The information is obtained by demodulating data specified by a direction in a pattern of a bright line appearing in the second image data and corresponding to the exposure lines that is substantially perpendicular to the exposure lines.

Abstract: An action recognition device estimates a plurality of nodes of a user and reliability of each of the nodes from an image captured by a camera, extracts, from the estimated nodes, a predetermined detectable node which is detectable by the camera, determines one or more candidate actions from a plurality of target actions by comparing reference reliability of a detectable node predetermined for each of the target actions with reliability of the extracted detectable node, determines an action of the user from the one or more candidate actions, and outputs an action label indicating the determined action.

Abstract: A visible light communication method transmits a signal by visible light communication. The visible light communication method includes modulating the signal into a predetermined blinking pattern, and transmitting the signal by causing visible light to blink according to the predetermined blinking pattern, from a projector disposed in an indoor space surrounded by a wall toward the wall. The visible light communication method also includes projecting video from the projector toward the wall, wherein the visible light is reflected by the wall to prevent the signal from being received in an outside of the indoor space, and the signal is used to transmit data related to the video projected to a terminal in the indoor space.

Abstract: An information communication method obtains information from a subject using a terminal device that includes an image sensor having a plurality of exposure lines. The method includes setting an exposure time of the image sensor so that, in an image obtained by capturing the subject by the image sensor, a bright line corresponding to each of the plurality of exposure lines included in the image sensor appears according to a change in luminance of the subject. The method also includes obtaining a bright line image by capturing the subject that changes in luminance by the image sensor with the set exposure time, and obtaining identification information of the subject. An exposure time of each of the plurality of exposure lines partially overlaps with an exposure time of an adjacent one of the plurality of exposure lines, and the subject includes a first area and a second area.
