Abstract:
In an image sensing apparatus, the color value of a conversion destination is acquired from a code image included in the image data captured by an image sensing unit. A frame is displayed on an electronic viewfinder screen, which is displayed based on the image data output from an image processing unit in the image sensing apparatus. The color value of a conversion target is determined based on color information included in the frame of an image displayed on the electronic viewfinder screen in response to a predetermined operation input. Color conversion parameters of the image processing unit are determined so as to convert colors within a predetermined range including the color value of the conversion target into colors within a predetermined range including the color value of the conversion destination on a color space.
Abstract:
An image processor includes a zoom lens for performing optical zooming by moving in a first range, an imaging unit for converting an object image obtained via a zoom lens into an image signal, and an electronic zooming unit for performing an electronic zooming operation on the image signal. The electronic zooming unit performs the electronic zooming operation as a result of moving the zoom lens into a second range when the zoom lens is in the first range and outside the second range.
Abstract:
An apparatus, a control method, and a control program which permit a first change operation of optically changing magnifications of a taken image and a second change operation of changing the magnifications by signal processing and in which a predetermined restriction that is not imposed on transition from the second change operation to the first change operation is imposed on transition from the first change operation to the second change operation.
Abstract:
An image pickup apparatus of the present invention can eliminate the trouble of starting up the image pickup apparatus once to change settings in order to turn off a start-up picture image and mute start-up sound or operation sound. A method of controlling the same, a program for the method and a storage medium having the program stored therein all can attain such technological advantages. Start-up sound, operation sound after the start-up and display of a start-up picture image of the image pickup apparatus are inhibited by depressing a predetermined button in starting up the image pickup apparatus.
Abstract:
In a liquid crystal panel in which pseudo dot inversion driving is performed, the occurrence of flicker or vertical and horizontal strings is prevented by preventing an alignment shift between individual layers during the fabrication of a TFT array from producing a difference between the respective abilities of thin-film TFTs to charge adjacent pixels (61, 62). For this purpose, the liquid crystal display panel is constructed such that two TFTs which are enclosed by two adjacent image signal lines (21, 22) and scan signal lines (3) and adjacent to each other along the signal lines (21, 22) have respective source electrodes (71, 72) adjacent to the different image signal lines (21, 22). The source electrodes (71, 72) and drain electrodes (81, 82) of the two TFTs connected to the adjacent pixels (61, 62) are alternately arranged such that variations caused by the alignment shift in the sizes and areas of overlapping portions between the individual layers of the TFTs are equal or the same.
Abstract:
A liquid crystal display comprises an array substrate in which a common electrode, a pixel electrode, a scanning signal line, a video signal line and a semiconductor switching element are provided, an opposed substrate, and a liquid crystal layer interposed between the array substrate and opposed substrate. The line width of at least either the common electrode or the pixel electrode is larger than the distance between the common electrode and the pixel electrode. The film thickness of at least one of the common electrode and the pixel electrode is larger than the thickness of at least either the scanning signal line or the video signal line. As a result, an inplane electric field liquid crystal display having a wide viewing angle, high-speed response, and high image quality such as high luminance is provided.
Abstract:
A weight (1), which is pressed toward the direction of collision detection by a force of a coil spring (3) so as to be displaced only at vehicle collision for functioning attached contactors to produce a collision detection signal, is slidably held on a shaft (2) which is processed to be lubricous and is secured between a first stopper (8) press-fitted to a base (9) and a second stopper (9b) of the base (9) that are formed as being separated members, thereby allowing the collision detection device to provide ensured operation with few errors and good response.
Abstract:
Extension means for extending a transmission path on which vibration transmitted through a movable contact to a contact element is provided for the collision detecting apparatus. Vibration generated when the vehicle is running is reduced before it reaches to the contact element. Consequently, variation of a space between a stationary contact and the movable contact is reduced, so that it is prevented that a characteristic of the apparatus changes.
Abstract:
A liquid crystal display unit including a plurality of subpixels in each pixel provides superior gradation over a wide viewing angle, and is produced with no increase in manufacturing cost and no deterioration of desired properties (such as reduction in brightness, contrast and response). No additional manufacturing step is required since a control capacitor electrode is formed at the same time as source and drain electrodes constituting a thin-film transistor. By controlling the ratio of display area and the difference in applied voltage of the subpixels, preferable viewing angle properties are obtained. The display properties at the boundary of subpixels are improved by controlling the gap width and the direction of boundary of the subpixels, thus providing a bright display.
