The base flat surface is positioned on an interior side of the side walls, and a second half shield cover having side wall parts, an edge of which has a step-shaped surface including a base flat surface and a raised flat surface extending in parallel and in a longitudinal direction of the edge, the base flat surface of the side walls of the second half shield cover positioned on an exterior side of the side walls, wherein the raised flat surface of either one of the first and second half shield covers is in direct contact with the base flat surface of another one of the first and second half shield covers in an engaged position in which the first half shield cover and the second half shield cover are connected together.

    摘要: The present invention provides a connector that can adjust the strength of the connection between the pins of a plug and the contacts of a jack by converting the horizontal motion of a member integrated into the jack or the plug into the vertical motion of an actuator disposed so as to adjust the strength of the contact between the pins and the contacts, thereby eliminating the need for a connector tool to accomplish the adjustment and thus both reducing the load surface area of the connector and eliminating the need for space in which to insert and remove plugs.

    摘要: An impedance matched electrical connector comprising a plug connector member and a matable jack connector member for an electric connection between printed wiring boards. The plug connector member comprises a plug housing of insulating material in which planar and elongated male conductors, a first row of male signal terminals, and a second row of male signal terminals are arranged in respective, parallel planes. A conductive ground shell is attached to the outer peripheral surface of the plug housing, so that the first and second rows of male signal terminals are arranged between the elongated male conductors and a planar portion of the ground shell, respectively, to thereby form a strip line structure by which the impedance of the connector is matched to the impedance of the printed wiring boards and the amount of crosstalk is relatively low.

The coaxial connector includes a center conductor, a surrounding conductor by which the center conductor is surrounded, and an insulating housing. The center conductor has a leg portion at its base end. The surrounding conductor has six lugs at its base end that extend radially. The leg portion and the lugs are exposed on a bottom surface of the housing. The coaxial connector is mounted on the circuit board with the leg portion pressed against a signal pad on the circuit board for electrical connection and the lugs pressed against a ground pad for electrical connection.
