摘要: A rotary cutter for a mower for mowing grass and the like with a cord of a desired length extending in a radial direction of a cutting head from the cutting head driven for rotation through a drive shaft is described. The rotary cutter includes at least one fastening element for fixing one end of the cord to a cutting head main body. An inner end portion of the cord inserted from a sidewall of the head main body is fastened by the fastening element. The cord is removed and replaced with a new cord when the cord is worn out. The cord fastening element is disposed near a drive shaft coupling shaft tube portion in the cutting head main body. A cord outlet for removing the cord is provided to the drive shaft coupling shaft tube portion side. The inner end portion of the cord extends outside from the cord outlet and along a sidewall of the drive shaft coupling shaft tube portion of the cutting head main body.

摘要: In retrieval in which information having meaningful consistence is regarded as one unit, useful information within a hypertext structure retrieved is rendered capable of being effectively perused. A node group constituting part constitutes node groups to be retrieved on the basis of combination through links and the degree of similarity in contents from information in a hyper-document system. A component node storing part stores node group identification address information sent from the node group constituting part. When a retrieval request is given, an information retrieval part calculates the degree of similarity between the retrieval request and the node group. A similarity calculation part acquires the component nodes of a node group similar to the retrieval request from the component node storing part, and calculates the degrees of similarity between the component nodes acquired and the retrieval condition profile to rank the component nodes. A similarity retrieval result display part displays access paths to each component node in such a manner that component nodes having a high ordinal rank in the degree of similarity can be distinguished.

摘要: A three-dimensional photographing system is disclosed which can photograph a three-dimensional image with high accuracy without dependence on an object. The photographing system is provided with a projector for projecting a coded pattern, a third camera for photographing the projected pattern in an optical axis direction of the projector, and a first and a second cameras for photographing the projected pattern in a direction different from the optical axis direction of the projector. It is determined by a region dividing unit whether the amount of change of the photographed pattern obtained by the third camera relative to the projected pattern is not smaller than a predetermined value, and a new code is allocated by a recoding unit to a region where the amount of change is not smaller than the predetermined value. In decoding units, using this allocated code, distance information is generated from the photographed patterns obtained by the first and second cameras, and a three-dimensional image is obtained in a distance information integrating unit in accordance with the distance information and luminance information obtained by the third camera.

摘要: A data processing apparatus and method for an FA controller is provided which permits easy collection of response data from a plurality of different types of upper or lower controllers without complicating a user program. The apparatus includes a first control unit 8 for issuing an instruction for designating an object from which data is to be collected, a second control unit 9 for exchanging data with a plurality of upper or lower controllers 3 or 31 according to the instruction, and a two-port memory 16 for facilitating the transfer of information between the first control unit and the second control unit. The second control unit receives the channel number, from which data is to be collected, and an initialization instruction or a sending and receiving instruction issued from the first control unit. The second control unit then refers to the initialization instruction and initializing conditions for each of the plurality of upper or lower controllers for each stored channel number, the instruction for the transfer of data to and from the controllers, and the data to be transmitted or received, in order to transfer data to and from the plurality of controllers and to send response data from the plurality of upper or lower controllers to the first control unit via the two-port memory.

摘要: A method for monitoring the operation of a plurality of programmable devices in a system which controls the programmable devices, and corresponding apparatus for monitoring the same. The employs two CPUs. One of the CPUs is controlled to communicate with the programmable logic controller of the system, specifically, to process devices read from the PLC, and to return the result to a two-port memory. The other CPU is controlled to read the result from the two-port memory and display it on the CRT, thus enabling a monitor display, which displays the operation of the programmable device, to have a fast response time.
