摘要: A measure for improving the light emission efficiency of a light emitting element without degrading characteristics of anode materials used in prior art is provided in manufacture of an upward emission type light emitting element. The present invention is characterized in that nitride or carbide of a metal element belonging to one of Group 4, 5, and 6 in the periodic table (hereinafter referred to as metal compound) is used as the material for forming an anode of a light emitting element. The metal compound has a work function equal to or larger than the work function of conventional anode materials. Therefore, injection of holes from the anode can be improved ever more. Also, with regard to conductivity, the metal compound is smaller in resistivity than ITO. It therefore can fulfil the function as a wire and can lower the drive voltage in the light emitting element compared to prior art.

摘要: In a stencil printing in which a perforated stencil sheet is wound around a circumferential surface of a printing drum to which an ink is supplied, and the ink is transferred from the printing drum to a printing sheet through the perforated stencil sheet by pressing the printing sheet to the printing drum while the drum is rotated, a method for controlling a printing density is provided, which comprises controlling an amount of an ink transferred to a printing sheet by selecting a specific value of D from a range predetermined in accordance with the following equation:D=.sqroot. (F/f)in which F is a possible range of pressing force at which the printing sheet is pressed to the drum, and f is a possible range of rotation speed of the drum. Also provided is a printing density controlling device for stencil printing which comprises a means for setting a specific value of D within a range predetermined in accordance with the equation above, whereby an amount of the ink transferred to the printing sheet is controlled. A computer program storage medium is also provided which contains a program for controlling a printing density in stencil printing, in which the program calculates a range of f at a selected value of D or a range of D at a selected value of f, in accordance with the equation above.

摘要: An inner focus type telescope includes a sighting objective lens, a focusing lens, a horizon compensating optical system, a focal plane, and an eyepiece through which an object image formed on the focal plane can be viewed, arranged in this order from the object side. The position of the focusing lens is adjustable to form the object image on the focal plane in accordance with the distance of an object to be viewed. The telescope further includes a beam splitting optical system provided in the optical path between the objective lens and the focal plane to split the optical path, a surface equivalent to the focal plane, provided in the beam splitting optical system, and a focus detecting system which detects the state of the focus at the equivalent surface.
