    摘要: A fuel cell system has a fuel cell having a cathode and an anode; a device for supplying an oxidant gas to the cathode; a device for supplying a fuel gas to the anode; a device for controlling a pressure of the oxidant gas in accordance with an operation state of the fuel cell; a regulator to which a pressure of the oxidant gas is applied as a signal pressure via a signal pressure line, wherein the regulator regulates a pressure of the fuel gas based on the signal pressure; and a device for scavenging the signal pressure line by using a scavenging gas when or after electric power generation is stopped. A device for controlling the signal pressure may be provided in the signal pressure line. Preferably, the scavenging gas has a pressure and a temperature higher than those of the oxidant gas supplied to the cathode.

    摘要: A fuel cell system enables time required for purging to be reduced without a major increase in discharge gas concentration at a time of purging. It comprises a fuel cell; a fuel gas supply path for supplying the fuel gas to an anode; an oxidizing gas supply path for supplying an oxidizing gas to a cathode; a fuel gas circulating path for returning an unreacted fuel gas to an anode inlet side; a dilution box for diluting the fuel gas by the oxidizing gas and for discharging it to outside; and a fuel gas discharge path connecting the fuel gas circulating path and a dilution box discharge gas inlet. A drain valve, a purge valve and an air discharge valve are provided, opening areas of which are different from one another. The drain valve with a smallest opening area is initially opened.

    摘要: A back pressure control apparatus used in a fuel cell system, which can normally operate even when the system starts in a low-temperature environment. The valve has a simple structure realized at low cost. The valve comprises a pipe member which functions as a portion of an oxidizing gas passage and is arranged along an approximately horizontal direction, where a predetermined area of the inner surface of the pipe member is subjected to a hydrophilic process in advance; and a valve element which is provided in the pipe member and is rotatable around a shaft, where the shaft is arranged in a cross-sectional direction of the pipe member. The pipe member may be arranged along an approximately vertical direction. In this case, a predetermined area of the inner surface of the pipe member is subjected to a water repellent process.

    摘要: A control system for a fuel cell includes a reactant gas supplying unit which supplies a reactant gas to the fuel cell, and a discharged reactant gas flow control unit disposed at an outlet of the fuel cell. The discharged reactant gas flow control unit includes a first control valve and a second control valve disposed in parallel with the first control valve. The second control valve has a different pressure-flow control characteristic as compared with the first control valve. Only the second control valve controls the flow rate of a discharged reactant gas until the flow rate exceeds a predetermined value, and the second control valve together with the first control valve controls the flow rate of the discharged reactant gas when the flow rate of the discharged reactant gas exceeds the predetermined value.
