Furthermore, a likelihood calculation unit 205 calculates a likelihood indicating a degree of certainty for each transmission stream using the weight matrix generated by the weight generation unit 204, and an adaptive control unit 211 determines a transmission rate appropriate for transmission of a signal from a transmitter to the receiver 20 in accordance with the likelihood of each transmission stream calculated by the likelihood calculation unit 205, notifying the transmitter of the determined transmission rate.

摘要： A signal transmitted to an STA 200a from a communication device AP is also received by an STA 200b. Upon reception, the STA 200b measures an RSSI. The STA 200b then creates a state notice frame which includes the measured RSSI, and transmits it to the AP 100. In accordance with the received state notice frame, the AP 100 determines and updates a PHY rate for transmission to the STA 200b. This allows to increase the determination and update frequency of PHY rates than before, resulting in an improved possibility of coping with rapid changes in channel environments.

摘要： A spreading code generating apparatus carries out M-sequence multiplication and zero value addition of generated orthogonal codes to obtain channel identification codes, and then carries out inverse Fourier transform of the channel identification codes to generate spreading codes and inverse spreading codes. A transmitting apparatus and a receiving apparatus store the spreading codes and the inverse spreading codes generated by the spreading code generating apparatus, respectively, and use a single code respectively selected from the stored codes to carry out spread spectrum communication. With the use of the spreading codes for spreading, the input signal is spread over a wide frequency band with uniform power on the frequency axis. Thus, transmission characteristics are improved, and multiplexing capacity is increased.

摘要： A resilient restricting member of a rotation restricting member which restricts a pinion moving body from rotating is accommodated in a frame of a restricting member holder under a flexed and loaded state so that the rotation restricting member has a sufficient rotation-restricting function as long as the rotary force of the pinion moving body does not exceed the load acting thereon at the time of engagement and restriction of rotation. When a pinion gear abuts the end face of a ring gear and the pinion moving body is restricted from moving forward, the entire rotary force of an output shaft acts on the pinion moving body. The resilient restricting member flexes further in the restricting member holder to allow rotation of the pinion moving body, thus enabling the pinion gear to mesh the ring gear. Thus, the rotary force of the output shaft is converted to the advancing force of the pinion moving body surely even when the spiraling of the helical spline is not so large.

摘要： In a starter for an engine, a magnet switch attracts a plunger by a magnetic force generated by a solenoid coil wound around a sleeve, so that a pinion fitted on an output shaft of a starter motor is driven by movement of the plunger to engage with an engine ring gear. The the plunger is pressed to contact tightly with the sleeve, whereby the relative movement between the plunger and the sleeve is restricted as long as the coil is held deenergized. The pressing may be attained by an inclined surface provided on the plunger or a flexture of a transmitting member which connects the plunger and a pinion.

This display information is stored in the storing device, and then supplied to the displaying device so as to be displayed. The display device is primarily a dot type device.
