摘要： Exemplary embodiments are directed to a drawstring for drawing together a material, and a method for making the drawstring. In some aspects, the drawstring includes at least one flexible elongate cord having a first end and a second end, wherein the first end includes a first aglet and the second end includes a second aglet, a first connector having a base end and a top end, the base end including a first cavity for receiving the first aglet, and the top end including a first male fastener, a second connector including a rotating element and a fixed element, the rotating element coupled to the fixed element via a swivel, the rotating element including a first female fastener configured to be removably attached to the first male fastener, and the fixed element having a second cavity for receiving the second aglet, wherein the first aglet is enclosed within the first cavity such that the opening to the first cavity is crimped to prevent removal of the first aglet from the first cavity, and wherein the second aglet is enclosed within the second cavity such that the opening to the second cavity is crimped to prevent removal of the second aglet from the second cavity.

摘要： An interchangeable drawstring having each end provided with a connecting aglet. The aglets allow two or more drawstrings to connect together, forming one extended drawstrings. The extended drawstring is then pulled through the garment either from an existing drawstring of the same design or by way of the threading tool that possesses the same designed aglets until the newly connected section of the drawstring is in position of the original drawstring. The user, now having the pulled/inserted drawstring into position, then disconnects the extended drawstring completing the change. The first connecting aglet has a free spinning threading component that allows the drawstring to thread to the second connecting drawstring without having to twist the drawstring during connection. First time insertions of the drawstrings are done with the threaded connectable aglet attached to a small threading tool designed with aglets of the same design as the drawstring.

摘要： A shoelace device is disclosed having an elongated flexible section engaged on one end to an anchor. The elongated flexible section is configured for traversing apertures formed on opposite facings of a shoe. The anchor is sized with at least one dimension larger than the apertures to form a stop for preventing passage of the first end through an aperture. The anchor has a first fastening surface configured for removably joining in a first engagement to second fastening surface located on the flexible section when the second fastening surface comes into contact is the fastening surface. A second engagement of strap portions can be achieved using combination hook and loop fabric as the second fastening surface.

摘要： The present invention discloses a lace end assembly having a male end connector and a female end connector. The lace end assembly uses an integrated magnet in one connector that interacts with another magnet in the other connector to couple the connectors. The male end connector is adapted to retain a knotted end of a pair of laces, such as found in a wakeboard binding. The female end connector is mounted on the wakeboard binding. The male end connector includes a protrusion that houses a first magnet. The female end connector includes a body portion that houses a second magnet. The female end connector also includes a cavity. The cavity receives the male end connector to allow the magnet to align and link magnetically, thus securing the lace ends to the binding.

摘要： An end tip for an elastic-cord-connected compactable tubular assembly (14). The tip has an insertable body portion (10) which acts as the elastic cord retainer. Because of two longitudinal channels (11) and a connecting cross hole (12), the tensioned elastic cord (13) is doubly locked and anchored onto this insertable portion of the end tip with no knots required for attachment. The locked portions of elastic cord (13) also act as a wedge to secure the end tip within the ends of the tubular assembly (14) during use, yet allow the tip/cord to be removed by hand for repair of the tubular assembly, or for elastic cord retensioning or replacement.
