摘要： A toothbrush body includes a handle connected to a head and bristles projecting from the top of the head. A channel runs longitudinally through the body between a first opening and a second opening such that the first opening is in communication with the second opening through the channel. The channel and the first and second openings are arranged so that a substantially downward running stream of water directed into one of the first opening and the second opening is redirected through the channel and out of the other of the first opening and the second opening to form a fountain. A direction of a flow of the fountain at the other of the first opening and the second opening has an upward component so that a user, i.e., holder of the toothbrush, can easily reach the fountain for oral rinsing.

摘要： The stem portion of a toothbrush body has a set of bristles on a bristle plate at one end thereof, the stem portion including a shell or stem body having a longitudinal opening therethrough. A core member is configured to fit within the stem body, having two opposed grooves in the exterior surface thereof along the length thereof. The stem body has two grooves in the interior surface thereof, such that the grooves in the core member and the grooves in the stem body can align to form separate fluid channels along the length of the stem portion. The stem portion receives fluid from a reservoir and delivers the fluid to the bristle plate, which includes exit openings for the fluid. The core member and the stem body also include fluid-tight connections therebetween, separating the two channels.

摘要： A mouth cleaning device of this invention comprises a hand held gripping part with brush and nozzle members selectively mounted thereto. The gripping part is provided with a driving rod for transmitting to the selectively mounted brush member a reciprocal turning force and for providing to the selectively mounted nozzle member a water feeding path to lead water to the nozzle member from an external water feeding means. A driving means provides a reciprocal turning force to the driving rod. A change-over switch drives the driving means only when the brush member is mounted so that, when the brush member is mounted to the gripping part, the brush member will be reciprocally turned to perform tooth brushing. When the nozzle member is mounted to the gripping part, water will be jetted out of the nozzle member to perform gum cleaning and massaging.
