    摘要: A device for moving large and heavy apparatuses combining modular rail sections positioned one after the other to form two parallel rails onto which slides a load-carrying plate extending transversely between the rails. The upper surface of the rail section has a central row of upwardly projecting supporting elements positioned at regular intervals along its length. The undersurface of the carrying plate has two opposite edge portions each having two parallel rows of guiding elements projecting down and positioned at regular intervals along its length. When the plate is positioned on top of the rails, the two rows of guiding elements define a guiding channel which may releasably engage the central row of supporting elements projecting up from the corresponding rail. The upper layer of each supporting element and the bottom layer of each guiding element are made of a friction material, either low friction material to facilitate movement therealong or high friction material to enhance friction. Also, the central row of supporting elements of the rails is sized to act as retaining means for a hydraulic jack to push the carrying plate.

    摘要: A two-part jack system includes a mechanical jack stand with a ratchet mechanism and a ratchet release, and a power unit that may be selectively aligned with and attached to the jack stand for raising or lowering it. A unitary control mechanism carried by the power unit selectively locks the power unit in an aligned position relative to the jack stand, and also selectively releases the ratchet release of the jack stand. A locking mechanism is carried in part by the jack stand and in part by the power unit. The unitary control mechanism has three different operating positions. In one operating position the locking mechanism is kept locked while the ratchet release is left in an unreleased state; in a second operating position the locking mechanism is kept locked while the ratchet release is released; and in the third operating position the locking mechanism is held in an unlocked condition while the ratchet release is left in an unreleased state. The power unit has an operating handle, and a single lever which operates the unitary control mechanism is carried on the power unit operating handle for convenient access and easy control by a human operator.

    摘要: The jacking apparatus comprises a load frame adapted to move relative to a rail having single slots longitudinally spaced therealong. A pawl carriage is disposed inside the frame for movement relative thereto. A single, double-acting hydraulic actuator is coupled between the frame and the carriage. A pawl member is vertically supported by the carriage for pivotal movement between two diametrically-opposite positions. The pawl member has a claw foot shaped so as to fall into successive slots. The claw withdraws from a rail slot and permits linear motion of the carriage over a distance equal to the actuator stroke, near the end of which the claw falls into the next slot. The claw will then permit linear motion of the load frame during the opposite stroke of the actuator. The reciprocating strokes of the hydraulic actuator produce alternate incremental movements of the load frame and of the carriage.

    摘要: A jacking apparatus comprises a rail with an attached vertical rack having teeth with a steep front face and a sloping back. A notch is arranged in the back of each of the rack teeth. A pair of cars are slidably mounted on the rail with each car carrying a pair of latches, one of which is engageable with the front face of a rack tooth and the other with the notch in the back of that tooth. Reciprocal motion, away from and toward each other, is imparted to the cars while the latches selectively engage teeth in the rack to cause progressive incremental travel of the cars along the rail, to move a load attached to one of them.

    摘要: A jack for lifting segments of a structure includes a pair of masts, a mast base, a mast cap, a hydraulic ram, a bottom bracket and a shuttle. The masts are identical and upright with a plurality of evenly spaced holes. The mast base supports the mast and the mast cap receives the upper ends of the masts and maintains the masts in a parallel, relationship. The hydraulic ram moves between a retracted position and an extended position with a stroke distance which is significantly less than the mast height. The bottom bracket is removably pinned to the masts and receives and supports the lower end of the hydraulic ram. The shuttle receives the upper end of the hydraulic ram. The bottom bracket and shuttle, when not pinned to the masts, can slide vertically up the masts. The shuttle includes features for connecting to a segment of a structure.

    摘要: A power unit has a frame with a bottom and a pair of lift arms with a cover plate, and a bridge. A lower latch member has a forward end, a middle portion and a rearward end with the middle portion pivotally connected near the lower inner side of one of the lift arms. The rearward end is angled downward, extending below the lower side of the lift arm. The rearward end is biased downwardly and is engagable with the bottom of the frame. The forward end has an upward finger with a beveled-up nose thereon that is engagable with a downward lateral flange at the forward end of the bridge. The bridge is retained by the forward end of the lower latch member, and whereby when the lift arm is lowered to the lowermost position, the forward end is automatically released. An upper latch member has a forward end, a middle portion and a rearward end, with the middle portion pivotally connected to a pivot arm extending downwardly from the cover plate. The forward end has a downward finger with a beveled-down nose thereon, that is biased downwardly and is engagable with an upward lateral flange at the rearward end of the bridge. The rearward end has a button extending upwardly through an aperture in the upper cover plate to release the upper latch member.

    摘要: One jack stand includes a stand assembly having a base and a tubular receiving member extending upwardly therefrom. A latch extends from the tubular member. A support bar having upper and lower ends is telescopically housed in a cavity of the tubular member. First and second sides of the bar each have multiple embedded slots. A third side of the bar has multiple holes with angled surfaces such that positioning the latch in any of the holes restricts the bar from moving upwardly yet allows the bar to move downwardly. An automatic lifting device is at least partially inside the cavity and imparts an upward force upon the bar. A stopper selectively interacts with the stand assembly and the bar to restrict the bar from moving downwardly, yet allows the bar to move upwardly. The stopper passes at least partially inside two of the slots to interact with the bar.

The element solidary to the lifting arm (3) that serves as a stop and is capable of lodging in at least one locking zone (14) is comprised in the second articulated connection (6). This way, a mechanical locking system is provided which presents optimal performance while minimizing the number of necessary components.
