    摘要: The present invention relates to bars for load transmission, which if anchored in concrete slabs create a support between them, forming semi-rigid joints and accompanying the differential settlements of the foundation bed, as a result of the rotation in the vertical direction about the joint axis, and transmitting the load from a slab to the other, ensuring a perfect leveling of the surface thereof when occurring elastic movements of the foundations, and allowing the possibility of removing the slabs at any time and reuse them again, due to the telescopic effect of the bars. The telescopic function of the bar which allows its support between slabs created a new possibility of obtaining prefabricated floorings of easy manufacture and assembly in situ, creating a new concept in the construction of roads, ports, airports, railways, industrial areas, etc., which distinguishes the present invention from the closest state of the art.

    摘要: Various monolithic pavers are described herein. The monolithic pavers described herein are one-piece pavers with no seams, joints, or connections. A monolithic paver can be formed via three dimensional (3D) printing or molding. The monolithic paver is designed to carry applied loads to paver support(s) via structural members of the monolithic paver. The monolithic paver is formed to include parallel structural members that are spaced with gaps there between. The parallel structural members include top flanges and webs. The parallel structural members can also include bottom flanges. Moreover, the monolithic paver can have exterior sides that have tongues and grooves formed there along; tongues can be formed along adjoining exterior sides of the monolithic paver.

Along at least one first side edge of each of the panels, the lower surface projects beyond the upper surface to define a lower peripheral tab. Along at least one second side edge of each of the panels, the upper surface projects beyond the lower surface to define an upper peripheral tab. The lower peripheral tab of one of the panels and the upper peripheral tab of another one of the panels overlappingly engage so that the upper surfaces of the panels are in adjoining relation to form the load bearing surface. A connector assembly includes a first connection element fixed to the lower peripheral tab, and a second connection element that releasably fastens the upper peripheral tab to the first connection element to secure the panels together.

    摘要: A vertically-adjustable support structure (10) for supporting paving slabs or the like includes a base plate (20) on which four wedge-like support blocks (30) are provided. Each support block (30) has an inclined surface defining a series of teeth/steps, and a horizontal top surface. A chock (40) is placed on top of each support block (30) to support a corner of a paving slab. Each chock includes an upper support surface (70) for supporting the paving slab, and a sloped underside (280) which defines teeth (290) which engage the teeth of the support block and secures each chock against displacement towards the base plate. Moving the chock up or down the inclined surface adjusts the height of the support structure. Additional height adjustment is provided by adjusting the height of the chocks themselves. In particular, each chock includes wings (320) which are hinged to the sides of the chock. In one orientation with the side elements disposed on opposed sides of the chock the chock has a first height. In a second orientation, the side elements (320) are rotated about hinges (330) through 180° so that the surface which was uppermost in the first orientation is located on top of the upper surface of the chock, with the height of the chock increased by the depth of the side elements. The side elements preferably include means (340, 350; 360, 370, 380, 390) to lock them together and/or to the upper surface of the chock in the second orientation.

    摘要: A semi-permanent walkway construction comprising multiple sections of walkway decking configured to be longitudinally connected by rail and splicer structure on lower surfaces of the decking. The rail and splicer structure is generally U-shaped and mates in a male/female fashion, with the rails downward-facing, and the splicers upward-facing with perforated bottom walls so that the rail and splicer structure buries itself in soft terrain to anchor the joined walkway sections. In a further form, a junction rail is provided to create a welding shelf to connect walkway sections in lateral and parallel configurations in addition to the longitudinal configuration provided by the rails and splicers.

    摘要: A module for use in constructing a pathway for traffic comprises a base member having a perimeter edge. The base member defines a lateral groove disposed at the perimeter edge and a tongue structure disposed at the perimeter edge and shaped and dimensioned to be received in the lateral groove. The tongue structure comprises a plurality of tongue portions, and includes a first type of tongue portion and a second type of tongue portion disposed in alternating relation generally along the length of the tongue structure, to thereby define a throughpassage for receiving a securing rod therethrough. To form a pathway for traffic, the modules are placed in perimeter-edge to perimeter-edge relation one to the next, with the tongue structure of the modules inserted into the lateral groove of an adjacent module, and are secured together by the securing rod.
