Abstract:
A bassinet is releasably mounted upon a support frame which is capable of being selectively rocked or locked against rocking and having locking casters which are releasable to selectively rollingly move the support frame. The bassinet when released from the support frame may be rocked by rocking members provided along the underside. Anti-rocking assemblies provided at opposite ends of each rocking member may be moved to and locked in an anti-rocking position to prevent rocking. Mounting members are provided along the underside of the bassinet and preferably joined to the rocking members releasably locking the bassinet into place upon the support frame.

Abstract:
A toy has a body part formed by two animal body elements spaced from one another in a transverse direction, each of the body elements having two legs extending downwardly in a standing position of the toy and a curved back extending upwardly in the standing position of the toy, each of the body elements also having a nose portion projecting horizontally forwardly in the standing position of the toy, and connecting elements for the body elements with one another and including a first Z-shaped connecting element having two horizontal portions which are offset relative to one another in a horizontal direction and in a vertical direction and a vertical portion connecting the horizontal portion with one another and also including a second connecting element having at least one horizontal portion, so that in the standing position of the toy a user can sit on one horizontal portion and place his legs on another horizontal portion of the first connecting element, while in a position when the toy is turned upside down a user can sit on the horizontal portion of the second connecting element and rock on the curved portion of the body elements, and in a further position when the toy is turned 90.degree. and can stand on the nose portion, the user can sit on the vertical portion of the first connecting element.
Abstract:
A base panel for use with building blocks has a top surface, edges defining the perimeter of said surface, a circumferential wall extending downwardly from the edges, and a plurality of bores defining a grid in said surface. The bores are square, each side of the bore having a dimension X. The distance between each bore is no greater than 1/2X. However, the distance between an outer edge of the bores and the edges of the panel is at least X so that a block which fits in the bores and spans the space between the bores, can not be positioned so that a portion of the block overhangs the panel. The panel removably rests on a support.
Abstract:
An activity table is made from a plurality of stackable cots and a top surface which is placed on the uppermost cot. The activity table may clamp onto particular components of the formed cots. The top surface applies as a cover on to the top of the stacked cots, and this surface may also include walls to define a basin which may hold water, toys, or even an infant. The top surface of the cots may also include other indicia, such as to form a game board, or the like. The activity boards are removably connected to the sides of the table by means of clips or brackets which engage frame members on the cots. Additionally, the activity boards are constructed to clamp onto other supporting structures, such as a table, cart, rails or balusters of a staircase.
Abstract:
A toy that can be stored as a sofa having a bench, a backrest and a headrest and that can be taken apart to build structures large enough for a child to crawl through or play in. The toy is a construction set with a plurality of first, second and third pieces. The first pieces form the bench, the second pieces form the backrest and the third pieces form the headrest. The pieces are solids with planar faces and are rearrangable into a play house having sidewalls, gables and a roof wherein the first pieces form the sidewalls, the second pieces form the roof and the third pieces for-the gables. Pairs of fasteners of opposite gender are arranged on the faces of the first, second and third pieces for joining the pieces into the sofa, the play house and other structures. Even numbers of pairs of fasteners of opposite polarity are provided for joining the pieces in more than one orientation.
Abstract:
A convertible baby cot/tote bag is provided having a rectangularly shaped main frame across which the baby supporting sheet is secured. The long sides of the main frame are medially pivoted about a horizontal axis to permit the main frame to be shifted from a horizontal cot position to a tote bag position wherein the main frame is divided into two vertically adjacent subframes. Sheet material is secured to the under surface of the baby supporting sheet so as to define pockets for the storage of baby accessories when the apparatus is to be used as a tote bag.
Abstract:
The invention comprises a chair for cutting children's hair. The chair has a base portion and a hydraulic cylinder and piston with the cylinder mounted to the base to hydraulically raise and lower the piston. A platform having a series of steps of different heights is mounted to the top of the piston and an animated object is mounted on the platform. The platform has steps on each side of the object. The platform has a central saddle portion for a child to sit astride with its legs straddling on each side of the object. The platform is a convenient distance below the object so that a child may rest its feet on each side of the object on a selected step of the platform, depending upon the size of the child, to brace and balance the child and to provide stability to the child on the object so that the child may with less effort remain upright in the saddle straddling the object without a head and back rest and it makes it easier for the child to remain relatively still with less movement either to the side or front or rear thereby making it easier to cut the child's hair and the lack of a head or back rest or side support makes the child's hair more accessable for cutting.
