Abstract:
A storage rack which hangs on the upper edge of a base cabinet door. A pair of hanger brackets fit closely on the door edge and are constructed to accommodate the plain edge of a flush mounted door or the stepped edge of a recessed cabinet door. Hooks on the inside parts of the brackets receive mounting fixtures used to attach storage devices such as baskets, trays, shelves, paper towel holders, food wrap dispensers, towel hooks or towel bars. Tabs on the outside parts of the hanger brackets allow a towel bar or other device to be mounted on the outside surface of the base cabinet door.
Abstract:
A storage system that is variously adjustably configured so as to provide for a variety of configurations and adaptations to be made based upon the necessities and desires of the user. The basic units of the device include at least two generally triangular shaped braces, a plurality of square shaped tubular rails, and a variety of attachment devices that allow for a variously adjustable tiered storage system with slideable suspension hooks that allow the device to be variously configured and modified without the use of tools.
Abstract:
A method for attaching an object to a surface using an adhesive. Prior to applying the adhesive, the surface is prepared by rubbing the surface with an eraser. After rubbing the surface, the eraser dust is wiped away, the adhesive is applied to the surface and the object is placed against the adhesive.
Abstract:
A retail display assembly is provided for displaying merchandise on a vertical support. The display assembly generally comprises a display member, a display support, and first and second mounting brackets. The display support is attached to the display member and includes a first horizontal member and first and second vertical members attached to opposing ends of the first horizontal member. The first mounting bracket is attached to a first end of the display support and is structured for attachment to the vertical support. The second mounting bracket is attached to a second end of the display support and is structured for attachment to the vertical support. The second mounting bracket is horizontally adjustable along the display support to vary the distance between the first and second mounting brackets.
Abstract:
The present invention is directed to a display assembly comprised of a display panel having an elongated substantially horizontal extending slot, where the display panel has a front side and a rear side. A hanger display assembly is provided having a base portion, where the base portion has a first and second side and an engagement portion connected to the first side of the base portion, where the engagement portion includes first and second diverging arms protruding substantially perpendicular to the first side of the base portion. A hanger element is provided which extends outwardly from the second side of the base portion, where the hanger element is substantially perpendicular to the base potion. The arms are receivable through the slot when they are substantially aligned therewith, but not when they are disposed in a substantially transverse relation to the slot. The arms are receivable for engagement with the rear side of the display panel when positioned substantially transverse to the slot so that the first side of the base portion directly abuts the front side of the display panel so that the hanger element extends outwardly beyond the front side of the display panel for receiving and supporting an item in front of the display panel.
Abstract:
An item holder is provided for use with a perforated panel having a shank with a support arm extending outwardly from a first end and a catch located at a second end. The catch comprises a curved cantilevered strap projecting from the second end and having a stop tab located at a strap end positioned above, but spaced away from the second end. In another embodiment, a system for supporting an item on a vertically oriented structure is provided including a substantially planar board having a plurality of spaced perforations, where each perforation is defined by at least an internal top edge and an internal bottom edge of the board. An item holder is with a slot defined through the underside of the cantilevered strap between a top portion of the shank and the second end of the cantilevered strap so that when the item holder is located within one of the plurality of perforations, the slot engages the internal bottom edge of the board. A tool holder is also provided that includes at least one disk-shaped flexible member having an aperture. The flexible member comprises a plurality of fingers capable of resiliently deflecting to grip a portion of the tool when axially inserted therethrough in one direction so that the tool is held in an upright position by the flexible member.
Abstract:
A furniture accessory kit is designed to support portable computers in office partition systems of the type having slat wall panels on which detachable office amenities, such as paper trays, etc. can be hung. A horizontal shelf accessory supports a portable computer thereon, and includes a connector that detachably mounts the shelf to an associated slat wall panel in a cantilevered horizontal orientation. The shelf has a wire trough to mange wiring associated with the portable computer. A sleeve-shaped accessory unit with a hollow interior for retaining computer accessories therein is configured to be hung on the slat wall panel directly above the shelf. A wire management device to retain wires associated with the portable computer is configured to be hung on the slat wall panel near the shelf and the accessory unit. A security devices for securing the portable computer to the slat wall and which is configured to be hung on the slat wall panel near the shelf and the accessory unit. A power supply unit for supplying electrical power to the portable computer to the slat wall and which is configured to be hung on the slat wall panel near the shelf and the accessory unit.
Abstract:
A display system is shown and includes a shelf consisting of a bottom horizontal portion and a rear vertical portion. An adjustment track extends horizontally along and is secured to the rear vertical portion of the shelf. The adjustment track has a C-shaped cross-section defining a lower track and an upper track. A divider support guide is sized to fit within the adjustment track having top and bottom end edges that fit within the upper and lower guide tracks respectively. The lower guide track has serrations therein that cooperate with and engage similarly sized serrations on the bottom end edge of the divider support guide. The divider support guide is sized so that the height thereof, i.e. the distance between its top and bottom edges, is less that the height or separation between the upper and lower guide tracks. A wire divider is secured to each divider support guide. In operation, a plurality of divider support guides are slidingly inserted into an adjustment track whereby the mutual serrations of the bottom divider support edge and the lower track of the guide face each other. The dividers will not move from a particular position as the result of linear forces there against in either direction along the adjustment track due to the interaction of their mutual serrations. However, each can be easily repositioned by lifting upward a sufficient distance to disengage the mutual serrations and then moving that guide horizontally in either direction along the adjustment track to the new desired location.
Abstract:
In a shelf apparatus for a showcase, which is provided with a shelf support for supporting a shelf plate on which commodities are placed so as to be slidable in a depth direction, the shelf apparatus is constructed so that the shelf support is provided with a locking plate extending in a width direction of the shelf plate, and the shelf plate is provided with a hooking member which is formed with a steel rod member which extends in the depth direction and whose rear portion further extends along the locking plate on a back surface side of the shelf plate, and also which enables the rear portion to be locked to and unlocked from the locking plate by being swayed vertically. When the shelf plate is held on the shelf supports, the rear portion of the hooking member is locked to the locking plate. By doing this, the shelf plate does not slide forward. When the shelf plate is pulled out forward, the hooking member is unlocked from the locking plate by being swayed vertically. By doing this, the shelf plate can be pulled out forward.
Abstract:
A garment-concealable jewelry case having a front opening with a front cover panel portion that can be either moved or configured to reveal a plurality of parallel-running isolated storage compartments each having an interior storage space which is accessible through a front opening revealed when the front cover panel is removed or reconfigured. Through the front opening of each storage compartment, one or more necklaces, pendants, bracelets or other strands of jewelry can be securely hung on a pair of jewelry support posts adapted for spatial separation on the back wall portion of the storage compartment in order to accommodate the length of jewelry strands being supported. The bottom portion of each parallel-running isolated compartment has a stationary front panel portion which, cooperating with the other wall portions of the storage compartment, provides a five sided stationary storage tray accessible through the opening of the respective storage compartment and within which articles of jewelry such as rings, watches, earrings and/or tie tacks can be placed for organization and storage. The front cover panel has a tray cover panel integrated therewith, which closes off each jewelry storage compartment when the front cover panel is positioned over the access opening formed in the case housing. When the front cover panel is closed, the jewelry support posts contact the rear surface of the front cover panel to prevent supported articles of jewelry from falling off and tossing about within the storage compartment during usage, including travel.
