A self contained window cleaning implement, the window cleaning implement including an elongated handle member, a squeegee member located on one end of the elongated handle member, a spray nozzle for dispensing a spray, the spray nozzle being located on the one end of the elongated handle member adjacent the squeegee member, the squeegee member extending at an oblique angle outward and downward from the elongated handle member, and the spray apparatus being located above the squeegee member, a reservoir for holding a supply of a cleaning fluid, the reservoir being attached to the other end of the elongated handle member opposite the one end of the handle member, a tube extending from the reservoir to the spray nozzle for transferring the cleaning fluid from the reservoir to the spray nozzle, and a manually actuable pump apparatus for forcing the cleaning fluid from the reservoir, through the tube, and to the spray nozzle, the manually actuable pump apparatus being located on the other end of the elongated handle member, and the manually actuable pump apparatus including a digitally depressible trigger member.

The combination tool, in particular for motor vehicles, has an ice scraper (2) and or a squeegee (3) for removing moisture, an emergency hammer (4) and/or a cutting element (5) and/or a sharpening element (6) for wiper blades and/or a container (7) for a slip and/or lubricating agent on a handle (1). In addition to the known functions of ice scraping and/or water removal, this combination tool allows one or several additional functions, namely the function as an emergency hammer, belt cutter, wiper blade sharpener and lubrication agent dispenser, because of which as a whole it results in the performance of a total of six different functions and is therefore usable in a versatile way.

A water holding device for a window washer as a first water tank for the reception of a window washing tool, and has a second water tank in communication with the first water tank at its lower end for the relief of pressure caused in the first water tank by rapid insertion of a working tool into the first water tank, the water holding device being of progressively decreasing cross-section in a downwards direction in order to minimize the volume of water required in the first water tank, and thus minimize the weight to be carried by the user.

The multi-purpose cleaning device defines a head with a portion on which is placed a wiping blade. The head has an underneath part for supporting a spongy body and is provided with a stirrup including at least one scraping rib. A handle is provided for carrying the head and contains a treatment agent which is projected by actuating a trigger.

A window cleaning apparatus is set forth wherein an elongate housing includes a downwardly extending forward housing receiving a sponge-like applicator mounted therein. Adjacent an apex of a second cylindrical housing directed downwardly from the first cylindrical housing is an upwardly extending boss including a resilient wiping strip secured therein. A ratcheting handle organization effects forward positioning of a piston to direct a cleaning fluid through the applicator sponge onto a window surface to be cleaned.

A compact, multi-function glass cleaning device which comprises a housing having a hand grasping portion, a working end portion, and a spray end portion. A reservoir is provided in the housing with the spray end portion having a finger activated spray pump in communication with the reservoir. The working end has at least one glass surface cleaning element secured thereto. A detachable support is secured to the working end to conceal a glass surface cleaning element. The detachable support has detachable elements for easy removal and connection with the working end. The detachable support has at least another type of glass surface cleaning element.

A fluid-flow-regulating contact applicator consisting of a plug or sleeve secured as a closure for a liquid dispensing bottle or similar container. The applicator is formed with a plurality of liquid-permeable ducts extending through a top wall thereof to provide fluid flow communication between the interior of the container and the ambient system. The ducts are physically dimensioned so as effectively to invoke surface tension molecular forces including capillary forces to preclude free flow of liquid through the ducts in response to gravitation alone, but to allow through flow of liquid when an outer face of the applicator is presented to and establishes contact between liquid contained in the duct and a surface to which the liquid is to be applied, thereby overcoming flow-inhibiting surface tension forces.

An upright tank partly filled with water is disposed on a wheeled carrier. A box-shaped cover at the top of the tank is provided on the inside with an air exhaust blower and a pump, both are enclosed within an air filter attached to the underside of the cover. A return hose leading to a glass cleaner head opens above the water level within the tank. The pump pumps water percolated by a dirt percolator at the tank bottom to the cleaner through a feed hose to the glass cleaner head extending through the return hose. Dirty air and water from the cleaner return to the tank through the return hose. The blower exhausts the air within the tank therefrom. The exhausted air passes through the air filter.

An applicator comprising a reservoir and two applicator pads for applying a liquid, semi-liquid or pasty adhesive contained in the reservoir. Each pad has a duct extending therethrough parallel to the main axis of the reservoir which is preferably tubular. A removable hollow cover is provided at each end of the reservoir, the covers enclosing the pads. Each cover has a pin projecting therefrom and extending through the duct in the pad. The pin acts as a piston in its duct when a cover is removed and replaced at one end of the reservoir, forcing adhesive through the duct at the other end of the reservoir from which the cover has been removed.The pads are of sponge or flexible porous foamed plastics, and may be of different sizes. The size of each duct and its related pin are related to the size of the associated applicator pad.
