摘要: A personal hygiene product with a digital element includes an external personal hygiene product to absorb bodily fluids and a conductive sensor assembly disposed therein. The conductive sensor assembly includes a pair of conductive elements disposed in parallel in a mirrored image about the perimeter of the personal hygiene product and at least one connector directly contacting the pair of conductive elements, said conductive sensor assembly generating a signal indicative of fluid leakage of said personal hygiene product when fluid reaches the area between the pair of conductive elements. The conductive sensor assembly is arranged and configured to communicate with a smart hand held electronic device, either directly or through a wireless connection.

摘要: An absorbent article having a main body having a longitudinal axis, a liquid-permeable topsheet, a liquid-impermeable backsheet and an absorbent core sandwiched between the topsheet and the backsheet is disclosed. The article has two wings, each extending outwardly from a crotch portion of the main body in opposite directions and asymmetrically with respect to the longitudinal axis. The wings have means for fastening the wings to a garment when folded over the main body. Furthermore, each wing has a first edge section and a second edge section, each extending generally alongfirst and second straight lines. The first line defines a first angle (α2) with respect to the longitudinal axis and the second line defines a second angle (α3) with respect to the longitudinal axis. The magnitude of the angles (α2, α3) is chosen so that α2

摘要: An absorbent article having a body-facing surface, a first end region a second end region, a topsheet, a backsheet, and an absorbent core disposed between the topsheet and the backsheet is described. The absorbent article being adapted for placement in an undergarment has a crotch portion disposed between the first end region and the second end region; a longitudinal centerline and a transverse centerline, the centerlines being perpendicular to one another in the plane of the absorbent article when in a flat-out configuration. The absorbent article is asymmetric about the transverse centerline and has a first functional enhancement indicator visible from the body-facing surface and provides visually and tactilely perceptible indication of the first end region. A second functional enhancement indicator perceptible from the body-facing surface providing visually and tactilely perceptible indication of a region of fluid entry in the absorbent article is also included.

摘要: A personal hygiene device may have a main body with an absorbent material configured to absorb a fluid, a sensor disposed within the main body, and a controller configured to communicate with the sensor. The sensor has a conductor and an insulator containing at least a portion of the conductor, and the sensor is configured to detect a first electrical value and a second electrical value that is different from the first electrical value. The sensor is also configured to transmit a signal to the controller upon detection of the second electrical value.

摘要: Disclosed is a folded absorbent article comprising an absorbent core comprising at least two core layers located between a topsheet and a backsheet. The width of a transition between front and intermediate portions of the core is narrower than a width of the rest of the core. A first end portion of the article is folded about a fold line that coincides with or is adjacent the narrow portion of the core. A second end portion of the article is folded about a second and rear transversal fold line. The first end portion may be folded onto a central area and the second end portion may then be folded onto the first end portion, or the second end portion may be folded onto the central area and the first end portion may then be folded onto the second end portion.

摘要: A sanitary pad 10 is provided for eliminating incidents of leakage from the front and rear of a user's torso. The sanitary pad 10 includes a lower fluid-impervious base member 12 having engaging members 14 coupled to each side thereof for securing the pad to an under garment of a user. An intermediate liquid absorbent member 16 is adjacently coupled to the base member. A pair of spaced raised longitudinally extending absorbent guide members 20 are coupled to the intermediate absorbent member 16. A first oval shaped liquid absorbent member 22 is coupled to one end 24 and sides 26 of the intermediate absorbent member 16 and a second oval shaped liquid absorbent member 28 is coupled to another end 30 and sides 32 thereof thereby preventing leakage from the front and rear of the sanitary pad 10.

摘要: An absorbent product includes a liquid permeable topsheet, a liquid impermeable backsheet, and an absorbent core enclosed between the topsheet and the backsheet. The absorbent core includes an absorbent fibrous layer, a liquid inlet foam layer, and a carrier layer, in which a transversally central region is arranged in the liquid inlet foam layer. The transversally central region extends along the entire longitudinal length of the absorbent core and includes a plurality of slits arranged in a pattern, wherein the slits are dilated slit openings in a part of the central region within an intermediate portion of the absorbent core, and the slits are non-dilated slits in parts of said central region within one or both of front and rear portions of the absorbent core.
