    摘要: A feeding system with numerically adjustable pneumatic cylinder speeds includes: a frame; an X-axis pneumatic cylinder; a Z-axis pneumatic cylinder; a feeding table connected to the pneumatic cylinders in order to be driven into motion in the X- and Z-axis directions; an X-axis detection module; a Z-axis detection module; a microcomputer; and a display screen electrically connected to the microcomputer. The microcomputer uses each detection module to determine the time interval between the instant at which the piston rod of the corresponding pneumatic cylinder passes the corresponding starting point and a subsequent instant at which the same piston rod passes the corresponding endpoint. The time intervals thus determined are defined as a duration of X-axis forward movement and a duration of Z-axis forward movement respectively. Both durations are displayed on the display screen.

    摘要: An electrically powered work piece feeder for use with inverted routers or small shapers incorporates improvements in adjustability which enhances accuracy, convenience, and safety in the use of such power tools. The powered feeder element mounts on a table fence and has an inverted roller suspended over the table adjacent a working face. Mounting structure permits positional adjustment of the roller in spatial relation to the power tool cutter and a workpiece on the table so as to propel the workpiece on the table over the power tool cutter and along the working face in the direction of the longitudinal feed axis. An out-feed section may be provided on the fence that includes inner and outer wedge-shaped ramps movable with respect to one another along the longitudinal feed axis and adapted to be locked together, thus allowing slow and precise advancement of the outer ramp toward the router.

    摘要: A floating caterpillar feeder is used for moving a workpiece on a worktable. The feeder includes a housing unit having a bottom edge, a driving unit including two pairs of sprockets and two chains respectively trained on the pairs of the sprockets, and a plurality of feeding units connected between the chains. Each feeding unit includes two mounting members connected respectively and fixedly to two corresponding links of the chains, parallel horizontal inner and outer rods connected fixedly between the mounting members, parallel pushing plates sleeved on the inner and outer rods, and resilient members for biasing the pushing plates to project from the bottom edge. Each pushing plate has a pair of inner and outer holes engaging respectively and movably the inner and outer rods so as to allow the corresponding pushing plate to move relative to the inner and outer rods in an inner-to-outer direction.

    摘要: A transparent shield is attached to a template and workpiece and used to move the workpiece against an inverted router blade. The transparent shield prevents inadvertent contact of fingers or hands with the router blade, yet allows visual observation of the workpiece proximate to the router blade. A router table may support the workpiece being cut by the router blade. Handles may be attached to the transparent shield for holding thereof. Sensors in the router table may determine the position of the transparent shield in relation to the router blade and the router blade may be stopped if the transparent shield is not covering the router blade. A video camera may be positioned over the router table. The router table, router blade and transparent shield images may be tracked in relation to one another such that if the transparent shield is not covering the router blade, then the router blade may be stopped. A microprocessor computer system may be used in conjunction with the router table sensors or video camera to control operation of the router blade. A brake may be added to the router blade shaft for quickly stopping the router blade if the transparent shield does not cover the running router blade.
