摘要： A pallet having a body topped by a deck with foldable deck flaps. The deck has two or more foldable flaps near each edge of the body platform, and a center portion. With the flaps folded into their down position, the pallet provides a nearly solid upper deck support for the load articles. With the flaps folded into their stowing position, the tops of the hollow legs are exposed so as to allow other unloaded pallets to be stacked and nested upon the pallet. The flaps may be interchanged with other flaps of alternate dimensions so as to provide a pallet with adjustable deck dimensions. Multiple attachment points for the flaps such that the flaps may be attached at positions with more or less overhang from the edges of the body, providing a more convenient method of deck dimension adjustment without the need for a variety of flap sizes.

摘要： A nestable pallet includes a top deck which has a substantially planar upper surface upon which a plurality of objects. The top deck has an upper surface and at least one opening formed therein. The pallet also includes a foot portion corresponding to the at least one opening. The foot portion has an inner surface, an outer surface, and an upright member which projects upwardly toward the top deck and has a hollow area disposed thereunder. In a nesting orientation, the hollow area receives the upward projecting member of a subjacent pallet. Preferably, the upper surface of the top deck portion is flat and substantially planar, upon which a plurality of objects are capable of resting. The opening, the inner surface and the upright member define a pocket for receiving the foot portion of a like pallet in a nesting orientation. In another embodiment, the pocket includes at least one aperture for drainage. In still another embodiment, the pocket includes at least one nesting stop portion.

摘要： A foldable device for facilitating the stacking of adjacent pairs of pallets loaded with container arrays includes a pair of pivotally-interconnected sections. Each section includes a generally flat bottom surface adapted to rest on a respective top layer of exposed container tops, and a top surface that include surface features whose uppermost portions cooperate to define a first reference plane. Each section includes a plurality of complementary hinge components defining a pivot axis that lies in a second reference plane located between the section's bottom surface and first reference plane, and further includes detents by which to maintain the bottom surfaces of each section pair in a substantially coplanar relationship when the hinged sections are spread open. Preferably, the surface features of each section pair are complementary such that, the assembly is folded about the resulting shared pivot axis, the bottom surfaces become generally parallel-spaced to facilitate device storage.
