摘要: The present invention relates to a maize sheller having at least one drum and counter drum (concave). The counter drum has an adjustable part and a non-adjustable part. The maize sheller according to the invention possesses a regulating mechanism for regulating clearance between the drum and the adjustable part of the counter drum. The use of a counter drum of such a construction economizes a significant amount of metal and enhances the screening capacity and the productivity of the entire device. The regulation of the outlet aperture within a comparatively wide range permits the use of the maize sheller for shelling corn cobs of different sizes and with different moisture content without causing damage to the grain. In case of penetration of foreign matter into the shelling apparatus, the drum and the counter drum are protected against deformation by a safety sector which is automatically opened.

摘要: A combine for harvesting primarily spiked grains such as wheat, rye, barley, oats, and cereals such as buckwheat. The combine includes a rotating rotor arranged in a stationary casing along the direction of combine movement. An upper part of the casing is provided with helical guide fins mounted on the internal surface thereof. A lower part of the casing in a threshing zone is provided with a grate-type concave mounted under which is a conveyor to transport threshed product separated through the concave to a cleaning mechanism. The concave has openings of different open area and is made such that its portion having the openings of smaller size is located, with respect to the direction of combine movement, between a front edge of the concave and an imaginary extension of a helical line of the guide fins on the concave and enlarges in the direction of rotor rotation.

摘要: A concave section for a harvester includes a concave body having an upstream side, a downstream side, a leading end and a trailing end. The concave body defines an arcuate crop engagement face facing radially inwardly. A plurality of crop passage openings are defined through the arcuate crop engagement face. A cover is configured to at least partially cover at least some of the crop passage openings. The cover is carried by the concave body and is movable thereon between at least two different positions to adjust a degree of openness of at least some of the crop passage openings.

摘要: A rotary cleaning system for a combine harvester that includes a hollow drum having a plurality of apertures along at least a portion of a length of an exterior surface of the drum, the drum having a feeding end configured to receive a harvested crop and a discharge end configured to expel chaff from the harvested crop and a guiding vane positioned in an interior of the drum, wherein one of the drum and the guiding vane is configured for rotation while the other one of the drum and the guiding vane is stationary to expel grain through the plurality of apertures in the drum. A feeding mechanism can be attached to supply the crop to the hollow drum. A fan can be attached to the rotary cleaning system to generate an air flow stream. A plurality of fingers can be positioned in the drum.

摘要: A combine harvester including a frame and two axial-flow crop processing rotors mounted to the frame. An inner support structure is located between the two rotors and mounted to the frame by a first linkage. Two outer support structures are located outboard of the two rotors and mounted to the frame by respective second and third linkages. The inner support structure and two outer support structures carry first and second pluralities of concave grate segments at a radial distance from the respective rotors. A concave adjustment system includes a first actuator coupled to the first linkage which is configured to raise and lower the inner support structure. A second actuator is coupled to the second and third linkages and is configured to raise and lower the two outer support structures. The first linkage includes a first rockshaft mounted to the frame and aligned perpendicular to the rotation axis. The second and third linkages include and share a second rockshaft that is arranged coaxial to the first rockshaft.
