    Abstract: The present invention provides a circuit board-mounted optical interconnection system comprising a mounting bracket for holding a board-based first optical connector ferrule; a ferrule alignment housing for mating the first optical connector ferrule with a second optical connecter ferrule to form a mated ferrule sub-assembly; wherein the mounting bracket comprises a pair of curved portions; the mated ferrule sub-assembly comprises one or more pivoting features for engaging with the curved portions such that the mated ferrule sub-assembly is rotatable with respect to the mounting bracket. The present invention makes mating and un-mating of the connector ferrules easier, particularly in confined working spaces as with racks in telecommunication cabinets.

In an embodiment, an optical fiber connector comprises an inner housing, at least one key configured to move along the inner housing so as to change a polarity of said optical fiber connector, and an outer housing disposed around at least a portion of the inner housing and configured to slide in a longitudinal direction so as to expose at least a portion of said at least one key, wherein the outer housing includes a flexible portion configured to lock to the inner housing so as to retain the outer housing in a pulled back position relative to the inner housing.     Abstract: Low profile optical fiber connectors comprising a ferrule, a plug frame configured to receive the ferrule, and an outer housing configured to receive the plug frame. The outer housing may be configured to protrude less than about 2 mm from one end of an adapter when the low profile optical fiber connector is inserted into the adapter.     Abstract: Various embodiments disclosed herein are directed to a Network system including: a connector comprising a housing comprising a groove running widthwise on a surface of the housing; and a push-pull tab comprising a complementary groove, wherein the push-pull tab is detachably connected to the housing; and a receiver device comprising one or more ports for receiving the connector, the one or more ports having an interchangeable anchor device including a first portion and a second portion; wherein the groove is configured to receive the first portion of the interchangeable anchor device when the connector is inserted into the receiving element, and wherein the complimentary groove is configured to receive the second portion of the interchangeable anchor device when the connector is inserted into the receiving element, the push-pull tab being configured to disengage the second portion of the interchangeable anchor device from the complementary groove when the push-pull tab is moved in a direction away from the connector, thereby disengaging the first portion of the interchangeable anchor device from the grove of the connector.
