    摘要: An automatically erectable decorative Christmas tree having a base, a telescoping center pole, a vertical array of curvilinear elements of graduated diameter supported from the top of the telescoping center pole by a plurality of circumferentially spaced tethers with the diameter of the curvilinear elements graduating in inverse proportion to the distance above the base; a plurality of circumferentially spaced branches pivotally connected to the curvilinear elements and extending radially outward from the curvilinear elements; and an electrically powered drive mechanism that is controllable by a user to selectively raise and lower the telescoping center pole. The subject tree can also be pre-lighted and pre-decorated. An automatically erectable support structure suitable for use as a tree stand and other applications is also disclosed.

    摘要: A motion-generating illuminated inflatable decoration includes an inflatable body with an inner space mounted on the mounting base, an air pump and a dynamic controlling device. The air pump is mounted in the inner space to pump ambient air into the inner space. The dynamic controlling device is mounted in the inflatable body and includes a pulling cord, a cord driving motor, multiple illuminating elements, a controller and a sensor. The pulling cord interconnects the inflatable body with the cord driving motor and will cause a motion of the inflatable body as the cord driving motor is rotated to change its length. The illuminating elements are mounted on the inflatable body to produce lights. The controller controls the cord driving motor and the illuminating elements to work as the sensor detects a person going through the inflatable decoration to attract the person's attention.

    摘要: A method and program for use with a massively parallel processor (MPP) system or a distributed computer system for providing a physical design layout database across several nodes of the system. A user inputs a first datafile representing the physical configuration of the distributed processor system, and inputs a second datafile representing application tablespaces and/or database system files to be stored in the distributed processor system. The program optionally assigns the tablespaces in the second datafile to the physical configuration of the distributed processor system as specified in the first datafile and per the number of nodes, number of disks per node, and the size of the disks. The user may optionally use the physical design layout of the program, may change a portion of the intermediate physical design layout, or may provide the entire physical database design layout, as desired. The program generates a logical volume map for the tablespaces distributed over the distributed processor system, and further generates scripts to implement the tablespace structure into a physical database.

Each of the two board portions has at least one base. Each of the at least one rope body is disposed through the thread-penetrating passage and arranged in two of the guiding grooves, wherein an axial movement of the at least one rope body operates to drive the two board portions close to or away from each other.
