摘要: A grounds maintenance vehicle having a vehicle frame is disclosed. An implement is coupled to the vehicle frame and has a first implement end and a second implement end. A height selection tool is configured to select one vertical position of a plurality of selectable vertical positions, where each vertical position limits a distance between the implement and the vehicle frame. An implement angle selection tool is configured to change the elevation of the first implement end relative to the second implement end and fix the elevation of the first implement end relative the second implement end. The implement angle selection tool has a manually engageable mechanism configured to change the elevation of the first implement end relative to the second implement end when the implement angle selection tool is disengaged.

In some embodiments, the vehicle includes an electronic controller (EC) adapted to monitor a speed of the prime mover and detect when the speed falls below a speed threshold. The EC is adapted to automatically disengage a power take-off (PTO) connecting the prime mover to the implement when the speed of the prime mover falls below this speed threshold.

The implement includes a housing, a first spindle pulley, and a second spindle pulley. The vehicle further includes a power system having a prime mover and an implement drive system. The implement drive system includes a drive pulley connected to the prime mover, an idler pulley, and an endless belt engaging the drive pulley, the idler pulley, the first spindle pulley, and the second spindle pulley. A first longitudinal distance between an idler pulley axis and a drive pulley axis is greater than a second longitudinal distance between a first spindle pulley axis and the drive pulley axis and a third longitudinal distance between a second spindle pulley axis and the drive pulley axis.

摘要: Various embodiments of a grounds maintenance vehicle are disclosed. The vehicle includes a frame and a control tower disposed at or near a rear end of the frame. The control tower includes a support structure that defines an interior space of the control tower and a nonplanar removable skin connected to the support structure. The removable skin includes a front side disposed over a front side of the support structure and a lateral side disposed over at least one of a left side or a right side of the support structure. A portion of at least one of the front side or lateral side of the removable skin is disposed above an uppermost surface of the prime mover. Further, the removable skin is adapted to be at least partially removed from the support structure to facilitate additional access to the interior space of the control tower.

In another embodiment, the second drive shaft may be formed by a jackshaft adjacent the engine.

A height adjustment column has a base and distal end, where the base is fixed to the implement. The distal end of the height adjustment column extends through the column opening from the first end beyond the second end. The height adjustment column defines a first locking structure and a plurality of height setting locations. A height selection tool is couplable to the height adjustment column and is translatable to each of the plurality of height setting locations. A second locking structure is coupled to the vehicle frame, where the second locking structure is configured to releasably engage the first locking structure such that the plurality of height setting locations are positioned beyond the second end of the column opening.

The system may include a suspension apparatus selectively attachable either to a support area of the chassis, or to the platform such that the apparatus is located between the support area and the platform. The suspension apparatus may be attachable at either a first location or a second location, wherein the suspension apparatus is spaced-apart from the pivot axis: by a first distance when in the first location; and by a second distance, different than the first distance, when in the second location. The suspension apparatus may include a support member and resilient element(s) attached to the support member.

摘要: A push-pull cable system including a cable assembly, a stabilizing element, and a guide member. The stabilizing element and guide member may maintain alignment of a wire of the cable assembly as it pushes against a mechanism resistive force that is not aligned with the wire itself. As a result, the cable system may be utilized in applications wherein space constraints prevent alignment of the wire with the resistive force vector of the mechanism.
