    Abstract: Systems and methods for a media content system. A media content provider includes storage for storing and serving video content to subscribers. The media content provider records and or otherwise stores video content from around the world. The system includes display devices configured to identify and tailor content to multiple individual users. Each user may have individual settings which provide for a customized viewing environment and experience. The system is configured to identify users of the system in order to tailor the content as appropriate. In addition, identification of users allows for the identification of the subscription content that corresponds to the user. Based upon identification of a user and corresponding subscription, the user's subscription content may be streamed to any location. In this manner, the users subscribed content may follow the user from home to a friend's house, or elsewhere.

    Abstract: Various examples are directed to an electronic device capable of touch input through a touch-sensitive surface and/or voice input through a microphone. In some examples, the electronic device may be used in an automobile. For example, some or all of the electronic device may be mounted in a dashboard for use while driving. The electronic device may provide informational content, entertainment content, navigation, and communication features in such a manner that user interaction may be minimized, thus providing a safe driving experience. This can be accomplished by performing tasks and presenting content automatically, without the need for user input, and by allowing user input through voice controls, touch screen controls, and/or physical controls mounted on the dashboard or steering wheel, among other possibilities.

    Abstract: At an electronic device, detect a first input on the touch-sensitive surface that represents selection of a first ideogram. Identify at least one attribute of the first ideogram. Select a plurality of suggested one or more characters to display, where at least a first set of suggested one or more characters is selected based on a set of selection criteria, the set of selection criteria including the identified at least one attribute of the first ideogram. Display at least the first set of suggested one or more characters. Detect a second input on the touch-sensitive surface that represents selection of the displayed first set of suggested one or more characters.     Abstract: A device, method, and graphical user interface for displaying a plurality of settings controls are disclosed. An example method includes: at a multifunction device with a touch-sensitive display: while displaying a home screen user interface, detecting a gesture on the touch-sensitive display; and in response to detecting the gesture on the touch-sensitive display: in accordance with a determination that the gesture is a first swipe gesture in a first direction, displaying a plurality of application images that corresponds to at least some of a plurality of recently used applications; and in accordance with a determination that the gesture is a second swipe gesture in a second direction distinct from the first direction, displaying a settings user interface that includes one or more media player controls for adjusting media playback at the multifunction device.
