Abstract:
A beverage maker that includes a container having a bottom wall, side wall extending upwardly from the bottom wall to foam a container cavity and a lid. The bottom wall includes a drain opening to enable liquid to drain from the container cavity. The lid is designed to be movable between an open and closed position. The lid forms a cover over a top of the container cavity. The lid includes a filter rib that extends partially into the container cavity when the lid is in a closed position. A drain plug is provided to control a flow of liquid through the drain opening.
Abstract:
An improved device is used for carrying hand sanitizers. The device can be a hand sanitizer belt holder or a pen. The hand sanitizer belt holder has a holder body, a belt loop, and an aperture that attach to a belt and has an opening for accepting a bottle or container of hand sanitizer. The cap of the hand sanitizer bottle extends through the aperture so that the user can access the contents of the bottle of hand sanitizer. The pen has a first outer shell and a second outer shell that are attached to each other using a hinge. When the first outer shell and second outer shell are opened, a gel cartridge of sanitizer can be inserted into the pen. After the gel cartridge is inserted and the pen is closed, the pen has a slider that moves down a track for dispensing gel.
Abstract:
A cutting and clamping device adapted for cutting open a portion of a receptacle and for clamping shut the opened portion. The device combines the dual functions of cutting open a receptacle, such as a bulk food containing receptacle, and clamping shut the opened receptacle, into a single device. By way of example, the device generally includes a clamping member for receiving and securing a portion of a receptacle therebetween; and a cutting member associated with the clamping member for cutting a portion of the receptacle. By way of additional example, the cutting member is preferably pivotally associated with the clamping member for selectably maintaining the cutting member in a closed position.
Abstract:
A portable warming device for dry heating a towel. The portable warming device includes a heating arrangement that heats one or more surface of the portable warming device so as to heat a towel that is in contact with the one or more heated surfaces. The heating arrangement includes a controller to at least partially control the heating of the towel.
Abstract:
A warming device adapted to receive and support a commercially provided fluid-containing receptacle, such as a body lotion-containing receptacle, and to warm the fluid, such as the body lotion, maintained therein so that the fluid may be withdrawn therefrom in a warmed state. The device generally includes a securing means adapted for securing a fluid-containing receptacle; and a warming means, associated with the securing means, adapted for warming the fluid maintained in the fluid-containing receptacle. The securing means may suitably comprise a base member adapted for receiving the receptacle thereon; a first substantially vertically oriented panel, associated with the base member in a substantially perpendicular manner, adapted to interface with at least a portion of a front face of the receptacle; and a second substantially vertically oriented panel, associated with the base member in a substantially perpendicular manner, adapted to interface with at least a portion of a rear face of the receptacle, wherein the second panel is adjustable relative to the first panel along a continuum of positions disposed on the base member. The warming means is preferably associated with at least one of the first panel and the second panel,
Abstract:
A warming device adapted to be suspended from a wall mounted towel rack and to warm a towel associated with the towel rack. The warming device generally includes a body member comprising a first layer member, a second layer member, and a cavity disposed between the first layer member and the second layer member; and a resistance heating mat disposed in the body member cavity and adapted to heat a towel when positioned in proximity thereto. The resistance heating mat comprises a first electrically nonconductive layer, a second electrically nonconductive layer, and a resistance heating element disposed between the first and second layers. The resistance heating element is adapted to dissipate heat responsive to the flow of electric current therethrough. The warming device also includes at least one towel rack engaging fastener associated with the body member and adapted for releasably suspending the body member from a wall mounted towel rack; and a means, such as an electric power cord, adapted for coupling the resistance heating element to a flowable source of electric current.
Abstract:
A reusable core that is suitable for having paper or other sheet material wound thereon. A multi-sectioned core is provided that is easily assembled. Interlocking sections that provide a pivot are held together by a sliding rod assembly inserted therein. One of type of rod assembly is preferable held into position by use of a snap ring or other similar fastening arrangement. A second type of rod assembly is a quick release design that can be easily pulled free by an integral handle. By removing the quick release rod, a key arcuate section is able to pivot thus causing the enabling the other two sections to likewise pivot inwardly, collapsing the core thereby permitting easy removal of the core from any remaining sheet material that must be discarded. The sheet material is held onto the core by means of a strip of double sided tape until the core is wound several times to keep the sheet material firmly in place.
Abstract:
A portable suction device for removing liquid from an engine includes a plastic tank including a pump aperture for enabling removal of air or gases from the tank and a receiving aperture for receiving a liquid or gas from an engine. The suction device includes a pump apparatus for creating a negative pressure in the plastic tank. The pump apparatus includes a metal cylindrical tube, a plastic piston surrounded by the cylindrical tube, a metal piston rod having an end secured to the piston and a pump handle secured to the other end of the piston rod. A plastic support bracket supports a first end of the cylindrical tube adjacent the pump handle by securing the tube to a protrusion at a top end of the tank. A pump support cap receives the second end of the cylindrical tube for securing the tube at the pump aperture of the plastic tank. Due to the arrangement of the cylindrical tube above the plastic tank, the cylindrical tube functions as a portable suction device handle for carrying the plastic tank.
