摘要： A combined writing tool comprises a cylindrical casing; a push button extended from the top end of said cylindrical casing by force of a spring; a plurality of writing cartridges arranged in the casing and adapted to be alternatively extended from the bottom end of the casing through a small aperture formed therein; and a cam arranged in the casing and adapted to cause a tip of either one of the writing cartridges to be alternatively extended from and retracted in the casing through the small aperture in response to the pushing operation of the push button. The combined writing tool makes it possible to extend or retract either one of the writing cartridges from or into the casing through the small aperture only by a pushing operation of the push button. Thus easy operation can be obtained and unwanted extension of the writing cartridge can be prevented. In addition, it is possible to prevent an erroneous operation during an exchange of the writing cartridge, to enable an easy one-hand operation, to improve the reliability of the mechanism, and to reduce a size of the mechanism.

摘要： This invention is to a writing tool such as mechanical pencil or a ballpoint pen in which a writing shaft having a head member is inserted in an outer sleeve in such a manner that the head member projects from the outer sleeve. A stair or step and a spiral groove are provided on the forward inner surface and the rearward inner surface of a tubular cap, respectively, with an inside diameter of the rear part of the spiral groove being larger. A bearing part is brought into contact with a lead tank provided inside a forward art of the tubular part so that the forward part of the outer sleeve is movable in the axial direction and is locked in the turning direction against a rearward inner surface of the outer sleeve. The rearward part of the tubular body is provided with a slit, holding pieces of a stick-shaped object holder slidably inserted in said slit. A stick-shaped object is held by the holding pieces, and the projection is provided on each holder engaged with the spiral groove of the tubular cap.

摘要： A twin type stick-shaped material extending container comprised of a base sleeve having first and second concave inner end portions at both ends of the base sleeve. First and second rotary guide sleeves are inserted into the concave inner end portions of the base sleeve. First and second traveling bodies have first and second stick-shaped material receiving bases respectively, slidably fitting in first and second rotary guide sleeves. The first traveling body is inserted in the second traveling body and inserted in the base sleeve. First and second spiral threaded grooves are formed on circumferences of the first and second traveling bodies into which first and second raised portions engage. First and second rotation prevention means regulate the direction of rotation of the first rotary guide sleeve provided on the first and second traveling bodies. The first and second rotary guide sleeves are capped with first and second inner caps respectively detachably attached to outer caps. The rotation of the first rotary guide sleeve makes first stick-shaped material receiving base slide into the first rotary guide sleeve so that a thin eraser is extended from the rotary guide sleeve according to the direction of rotation of the first rotary guide sleeve as the first stick-shaped material receiving base slides into the first rotary guide sleeve.

摘要： A mechanical pencil wherein a lead is propelled through a lead insertion tube provided at the forward end of the pencil body by the propulsion of a lead sustaining and feeding mechanism consisting of a chuck and the like, the mechanical pencil also having a lead protective device wherein a thin film made of an elastic material, such as rubber, synthetic resin or the like, is provided over the whole length of the inner surface of the lead insertion tube so that the lead is permitted to pass therethrough with ease, the elastic thin film being adapted to have a relatively greater thickness at the forward end part of the lead insertion tube so as to form a lead sustaining portion, the elasticity of the lead sustaining portion precluding the lead from slipping out due to own weight when released from the lead sustaining and feeding mechanism thereby minimizing the loss of lead.
