摘要: A method and an arrangement for detecting the position of the plane XY of an object, which plane XY is to be scanned, and for its positioning in the focal plane X′Y′ of a laser scanner, preferably for a laser scanning microscope. According to the disclosure, it is provided in a method of the type described above that, after a rough orientation of the object carried out by placing on an object holder, a laser beam is directed successively in time to at least three different points P1, P2 . . . Pn located in the scan plane XY of the object and, in doing so, each of the reflections proceeding from the points P1, P2 . . . Pn is imaged on a position-sensitive detector, an actual position value is determined at the detector for each reflection and is compared with a stored reference position value, adjustment commands for changing the inclination of the object holder are obtained from the deviations of the actual position values from the reference position values, and the inclination of the object holder is changed on the basis of these adjustment commands until points P1, P2 . . . Pn are located in the focal plane X′Y′ of the laser scanner.

摘要: A method of producing a print, especially a multicolor print, especially for proof purposes, by controlled heating, in accordance with an image, of a surface layer one or more laser beams from a laser imaging unit and by applying the selected surface elements to a substrate. For the purpose of imaging the substrate, applied to a substrate cylinder, use is made of a tape-like transfer tape with a width which is small in relation to the substrate width, so that the gas produced during the laser imaging operation can escape to a sufficient extent because of the substrate and transfer tape being placed opposite each other over a small area. During the imaging operation this transfer tape is guided continuously through between the substrate and the laser beam or beams, close to the substrate surface, and is moved over the substrate width simultaneously and in synchronism with the movement of the laser imaging unit.

摘要: A method and to a corresponding apparatus reads out X-ray information stored in a storage phosphor plate (1), the storage phosphor plate (1) being irradiated with stimulation light (3) and so being stimulated into emitting emission light which is collected by a detector (9) during several measuring times and being converted into corresponding emission light signals (S, R). In order to guarantee high reliability when examining sensitivity fluctuations, in particular with different types of detectors, provision is made such that reference measurements are taken by the detector (9) during several reference measuring times and several reference signals are thus produced, the individual reference measuring times falling respectively between the measuring times, and the reference signals being used for examining the sensitivity of the detector (9) to emission light.

摘要: A process, and to a corresponding apparatus for reading out and erasing X-ray information stored in storage phosphor layers, comprising the following: irradiating the storage phosphor layer (1) with stimulation light (3) by means of which the storage phosphor layer (1) is stimulated to emit emission light, collecting the emission light emitted at different locations (x, y) of the storage phosphor layer (1) with a detector (7), detector signal values (D(x, y)) being obtained for different locations (x, y) of the storage phosphor layer (1), and irradiating the storage phosphor layer (1) with erasing light (21), the quantity of erasing light (21) being determined by means of the detector signal values (D(x, y)). When determining the quantity of erasing light (21), which is on the one hand sufficiently great in order to guarantee total erasure of the storage phosphor layer (1), and on the other hand is as low as possible, in order to avoid an unnecessarily high degree of heat development and to guarantee a high throughput, detector signal values (D(x, y)) obtained for different locations (x, y) in a first and second dimension (x or y) of the storage phosphor layer (1) are compared with comparison signal values (H(x), H′(x)) specified for different locations (x) in just one dimension (x) of the storage phosphor layer (1).

摘要: In a measuring device for automation technology with single-hand servicing, a housing closable with a lid is provided. Arranged at an edge of the lid is a movable ring element, which is mounted to be slightly shiftable parallel to the longitudinal axis of the lid and to be rotatable about the longitudinal axis of the lid. On the lid are sensors, which serve for registering rotary and linear movement of the ring element, via which a display unit is operated.
