摘要： A camblock assembly with a camblock and a guide rod is employed in a firearm having a frame constructed of synthetic polymer material. The camblock has a front flange with flange surfaces that engage corresponding bearing surfaces of the frame to distribute forces and energy to the frame during recoil of the firearm. A shelf member is positioned at a front end of the camblock and a coiled flat wire buffer spring is positioned about the guide rod to resist movement of a reciprocating slide. A detent mechanism positioned within the camblock contacts a surface of a slide stop pin to hold the slide stop latch in place. The interior of the slide stop latch contains an elongated wire having an end that engages the frame such that the slide stop latch is biased in a down position.

摘要： A centerfire autoloading pistol including a loaded chamber indicator to identify the presence of a cartridge loaded in the firing chamber. The pistol may generally include a housing having an external surface and defining a chamber to receive a cartridge, a barrel unit disposed at least partially in the housing, and an indicating element having two ends. In one embodiment, the indicating element may be pivotally mounted to the housing proximate to one of the ends. The indicating element is displaceable in response to contact by the cartridge from a first position which may in one embodiment correspond to an absence of a cartridge loaded in the chamber, to a second position which may in one embodiment correspond to a presence of a cartridge loaded in the chamber. A biasing member, such as a spring, may be provided for biasing the indicating element towards the first position. In one embodiment, the indicating element protrudes outwards from the external surface of the pistol in response to contact by the cartridge to provide visual and tactile indication of a loaded chamber condition to a user of the pistol. Initial which may include alphanumeric characters, symbols, colors, or a combination thereof may be provided on the indicating element.

摘要： A pistol including a mechanism that locks firing pin of the pistol. The firing pin locking mechanism may include a stopping member which may be selectively moved by a user of the pistol between first and second positions, and a movable blocking member that may be engaged with a forwardly-movable firing pin. A biasing member such as a spring may be provided to bias the blocking member into engagement with the firing pin. In one embodiment, the blocking member arrests or blocks the forward motion of the firing pin to prevent the firing pin from striking a loaded cartridge and discharging the pistol. In a possible first activated position, the stopping member prevents the firing pin blocking member from being operably disengaged from the firing pin, thereby preventing the firing pin from moving forward to strike a cartridge. In a possible second deactivated position, the stopping member allows the firing pin blocking member to be disengaged from the firing pin by normal operation of the pistol trigger system to allow the pistol to be discharged. The firing pin locking mechanism may further include a locking member to allow a pistol user to lock the stopping member in the first position or second position.

摘要： A pistol including a mechanism that locks manual safety of the pistol. The lockable manual safety mechanism may include a manual safety that engages the firing apparatus of the pistol to prevent discharge of the pistol when the trigger is pulled. The firing apparatus may include a trigger, trigger bar, sear, and hammer that contacts a firing pin which may strike a chambered cartridge. The manual safety may be movable into and out of engagement with the firing apparatus. In one embodiment, the safety engages the sear to prevent the sear from moving and releasing the hammer while held in the cocked position by the sear. In one embodiment, the manual safety is a lever that is pivotally mounted to the frame of the pistol. The pistol may further include a locking member that engages the safety. The locking member may be movable from an unlocked position in which the manual safety is freely movable, to a locked position engaging the manual safety so that the safety cannot freely move and is locked into engagement with the sear while the hammer is held in the cocked position by the sear. In one embodiment, the locking member may be a lock pin that may be rotatably carried by the pistol.

摘要： A lever action firearm having a receiver, a hammer, a lever pivotal about a fixed point, a bolt and a link which link is pivotal on both the bolt and the lever. The pivotal lever includes first surface means to engage second surface means on the hammer to cause the hammer to be cammed back during unloading. The lever, link and bolt are configured such that when they are in the fire position and are subjected to forces of firing they function as a joint lock to prevent unloading of the bolt and lever. Locking surfaces on the receiver and bolt strengthen the joint lock at the moment of firing.

摘要： A firearm frame constructed of plastic material having slide rail guidance members in the forward, central and rear portions of the frame. The frame is useful with a barrel unit which is cammed back and down by slide reciprocation and by a cam block which with barrel movement being arrested by the walls of a frame cavity. Forces and energy created in arresting such back and down movement of the barrel and block is transferred to the frame by the block hitting the frame cavity. A slide stop pin passing through openings in the frame and cam block also assist in transferring energy to the frame. Forces causing the slide to move upward during the arresting of barrel and block is prevented buy the rail guidance members. The trigger rotates about a trigger trunnion located in such frame cavity below the cam block.
