    摘要: In a cleaning controller for a recording head of a recorder connected to an external device, a timer acquires a first time value indicating a current time from the external device, and performs cyclic clocking in which a first predetermined time period is repetitively clocked from a predetermined time point. A nonvolatile storage medium stores a second time value indicating a time at which a cleaning operation is lastly performed. A determinant compares the first and the second time values to obtain a third time value, and determines whether a cleaning operation is necessary to be performed based on the third time value. A cleaner performs a cleaning operation of the recording head based on the result determined by the determinant.

    摘要: Biaxially-drawn polyester film for fabrication which is characterized in that it is a film comprising polyester in which ethylene terephthalate units and/or ethylene naphthalate units are the chief structural component and containing 0.1-2 wt % of a carnauba wax and 1 to 200 ppm of germanium, and the melting point of said film is 180-270° C., the angle of contact to water is 70°-120°, and the planar orientation coefficient is 0.08-0.15. This film shows outstanding release properties following repeated use, use after fabrication and use in an aqueous environment and, furthermore, it exhibits stable properties with little variation and, in particular, following lamination to metal sheet such as steel or aluminium, when used as the inner face of a fabricated metal can, it is outstanding in its non-stick properties to the contents, and provides a combination of heat resistance and processability.

    摘要: A gas barrier film comprises a thermoplastic resin substrate and on the substrate a gas barrier coating, which coating comprises a water soluble or water dispersible high polymer and inorganic stratified particles.In one film, the surface of the gas barrier coating remote from the substrate has a roughness parameter Rt/Ra of 25 or less.In an alternative film, the gas barrier coating contains an amine compound represented by the following general formula: ##STR1## where R1 stands for a hydrogen atom, or a C.sub.1-6 alkyl or allyl or phenyl group; R2 stands for a hydrogen atom, or an optionally substrated alkyl or allyl group; and R3 stands for an optionally substituted alkyl or allyl group.

    摘要: A method of thermally laminating a substrate with a polyester film characterized in that said film has a melting point of 150-250.degree. C., contains 0.01-1% by weight of diethylene glycol component and not more than 0.8% by weight of cyclic trimers, and has an intrinsic viscosity �.eta.! of not less than 0.7. The film has good formability and physical properties such as impact resistance, which are hitherto not attained, and the film is excellent in adhesiveness and taste characteristics, so that the film is suited as a wrapping material and as an inner liner of containers.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a retardation film using polyester having a photoelastic coefficient of −40×10−12 Pa−1 to 40×10−12 Pa−1. The present invention also relates to a polyester resin for optical use which contains a phosphorus compound, and an alicyclic component and a fluorene derivative component as constituents, and satisfies the following equations (6) and (7): 100° C.≦glass transition temperature≦150° C.  (6) and 1.0≦(Ma/2+Mb+Mc)/P≦5.0  (7), wherein Ma is the number of moles of an alkali metal element contained in 1 ton of the polyester resin, Mb is the number of moles of an alkaline earth metal element contained in 1 ton of the polyester resin, Mc is the sum of the number of moles of a zinc element (Zn), a cobalt element (Co) and a manganese element (Mn) contained in 1 ton of the polyester resin, and P is the number of moles of a phosphorus element contained in 1 ton of the polyester resin.
