摘要： A magnetic tape recording and/or reproducing apparatus which has a magnetic head, two tape winding reels, a first capstan and a first pressure roller opposed thereto, a second capstan and a second pressure roller opposed thereto, the pressure rollers being movable into contact with the capstans for transporting a magnetic tape. Two fixed motors are coaxial with and directly drive the respective capstans. A tape direction control is connected to the pressure rollers for selectively bring the first or second pressure roller into contact with the first or second capstan, respectively for selectively driving the tape in one or the other direction. A transmission is provided to which the tape direction control is connected for driving the tape winding reels under the control of the tape direction control means. The transmission has idlers for transmitting the rotary motion of the motors and is selectively engageable with one of the two winding reels and one of the two motors or with the other of the two winding reels and the other of the two motors, depending on the direction in which the tape is to be transported.

摘要： A photographic apparatus for producing a visible image on a photosensitivenit including a photosensitive film mounted on a film mount. The apparatus includes: a first member having a supplying station, an exposure station, a developing station and a fixing station provided on a principal surface thereof; two transfer means, one for transferring the unit from the supplying station to the exposure station and or for transferring the unit from the exposure station to the developing station, and from the developing station to the fixing station; and driving means for driving the two transfer means. A latent image of an original is formed on the film at the exposure station, the latent image is developed at the developing station, and the developed image is fixed at the fixing station. The feature of this apparatus is that the function of holding the unit and guiding it to each of said stations is achieved by the first member, and independently the function of transferring the unit is achieved by the two transfer means, whereby the transfer of the unit from one station to another can be carried out securely without fail, and the mechanism of the apparatus can be simplified.

摘要： A fixing device enabling the temperature of a heating element to be uniformly and stably maintained even if the heating element is eccentrically moved or vibrated. An opposed core (233) is so formed that a small diameter opposed core (2332) is fixedly inserted onto the center part of a core shaft (2331) and large diameter opposed cores (2333) are fixedly inserted onto both end parts of the core shaft (2331) so that the cross sectional area thereof at both ends in the lateral direction (both ends in the longitudinal direction) is larger than the cross sectional area thereof at the center part in the lateral direction. A fixing belt (210) is formed of a non-magnetic material and disposed between a core (232) and the opposed core (233). Thus, since a magnetic flux between the core (232) and the opposed core (233) is not almost varied and the fixing belt (210) allows the magnetic flux to pass therethrough and does not affect the flux, even if the fixing belt (210) is rotated and a distance between the core (232) and the fixing belt (210) is varied, the temperature of the fixing belt (210) can be uniformly and stably maintained.

摘要： A release layer, which contains fluoropolymers is applied on a die surface of a shaping die, and is baked. An elastic layer is applied onto the external surface of the release layer and is baked. A supporting layer containing heat-resistant synthetic resin is applied onto the external surface of the elastic layer, and is dried. The dried supporting layer is polished to remove the unevenness, and the supporting layer is baked. The release layer, the elastic layer and the supporting layer are turned inside out to be removed from the die surface. The evenness of the fixing belt is improved, and the pressure unevenness is reduced.

摘要： An image forming apparatus includes a plurality of image forming units having a developer, a charger, and a photosensitive member; a carriage for retaining the plurality of image forming units so that they can be removed and installed, and which rotates the plurality of image forming units between an image forming position and other positions; a laser exposing device for exposing the photosensitive member at an image forming position; an intermediate transfer belt for accepting a toner image formed on the photosensitive member at the image forming position, and forming a color image; an output shaft for coupling with at least one axis end portion of the photosensitive member in the image forming position in the axial direction of the photosensitive member, and positioning the photosensitive member at a proper position; a rotation stop portion for positioning the rotation orientation of the image forming units with respect to the axis of the photosensitive members; and a retransfer roller for transferring the color image formed on the intermediate transfer belt at a retransfer position onto recording paper. Thus, it is possible to retain the image forming unit precisely and reliably at a proper position.

A conveying device switches the plurality of image forming units by moving them successively between an image forming position and a waiting position. A photoconductive drum driving device removably engages the driven coupling device of the image forming unit that is positioned in the image forming position and having one driving coupling device for coaxially rotating the photoconductive drum of the image forming unit positioned in the image forming position together as one body. The photoconductive drum positioned in the image forming position is in contact with a transfer device wherein a peripheral velocity of either the photoconductive drum or the transfer device during use is higher than the a peripheral velocity of the other.

摘要： An image forming apparatus according to the present invention includes: a photosensitive body; an exposing device for irradiating the photosensitive body with a light to form a latent image on the photosensitive body; a developing device for developing the latent image formed on the photosensitive body to form a developer image; a transfer roller for transferring the developer image on a recording paper; a fixing device for thermally fixing a transferred image on the recording paper after image transference; and a case for accommodating the photosensitive body, the exposing device, the developing device, the transfer roller and the fixing device, the case having at least six planes, two or more of the planes provided around an axis of the photosensitive body, being placement planes which are usable as a bottom during an image forming operation. The fixing device is always above the photosensitive body and the developing device, regardless of which plane is selected from the two or more placement planes as a bottom when the apparatus performs the image forming operation.
