Abstract:
A Far UV-C light device has a Far UV-C lamp located within a housing emitting a Far UV-C light having a wavelength of 222+/−1 nm for destroying pathogens. A handle connected with a body to a housing allows the Far UV-C device to be hand held and moved to a selected location. The handle is attached to a battery that provides electric energy that excites the Far UV-C lamp to emit Far UV-C light.
Abstract:
A wrench has a head with an inside cylindrical wall surrounding a body with ramps. Cylindrical rollers located between the ramps and the cylindrical wall of the head are moved into wedging positions relative to the ramps and the inside cylindrical wall with permanent magnets located in a cage assembly anchored on the body.
Abstract:
A socket wrench for turning sockets has a handle joined to a head having an inside wall accommodating a body including a socket holder. A permanent magnet attached to the socket holder holds a socket on the socket holder. The body has a plurality of ramps facing the inside wall of the head. Rollers engage the ramps and inside wall. A member mounted on the body engages the rollers to selectively shift the rollers relative to opposite end sections of the ramps. First and second permanent magnets on the body and member maintain the member in selected shifted positions to retain the rollers adjacent the end sections of the ramps.
Abstract:
A string trimmer equipped with a knife and deflector apparatus mounted on the shroud directs cut debris laterally away from a workperson operating the string trimmer. A knife cutting edge located below the shroud cuts vegetation moved by the revolving string into cut debris. An upwardly extended radial deflector mounted on the shroud directs the cut debris laterally away from the shroud and workperson.
Abstract:
An air motor socket wrench has an air motor secured to a housing of a socket drive assembly having a socket drive member provided with a socket lock ball movable between a socket lock position and a socket unlock position. A hexagon body has inwardly inclined ramp sections adjacent an inside continuous cylindrical wall of a yoke drivably connected to the motor to oscillate the yoke. Rollers located between the ramp sections and cylindrical wall of the yoke transmits rotational movement of the yoke to the body and socket drive member. A muffler mounted on the air motor reduces the noise generated by the air motor.
Abstract:
A pay telephone having a housing is removably mounted on a mount. The mount and housing have cooperating pins and inclined slots arranged to retain the housing on the mount and permit the housing to be lifted from the mount. Locks mounted on the housing have movable members that engage a lip secured to the mount prevent the housing from being lifted from the mount. The movable members are turned with keys to positions which permit the housing to be lifted from the mount.
