摘要： A method of fitting connectors includes a step of inserting a first connector into a mounting hole of a joint body from one side of the mounting hole in order to temporarily retain the first connector in the mounting hole, a step of inserting a second connector into the mounting hole from the other side of the joint body in order to release the condition in that the first connector has been retained in the mounting hole simultaneously with fitting both connectors to each other, and a step of inserting the second connector into the mounting hole further so that the second connector is primarily fixed in the mounting hole.

摘要： A fitting operation of connectors is completed through the following steps of providing a first connector with a mating projection, and a second connector; providing a slide member which moves in a direction perpendicular to a direction in which the first connector is pressed against the second connector; preparing an inclined groove provided in the slide member for receiving the mating projection when fitting the first connector to the second connector is started; temporarily securing the first connector in a fitting hole of a fitting body; pressing the second connector against the first connector in a connector fitted direction; fitting the first connector and the second connector together by moving the slide member in a direction perpendicular to the connector fitted direction by a pressing force via the inclined groove while releasing the first connector from being temporarily secured in the fitting hole; and completing the fitting operation between the first and second connectors by pushing the second connector simultaneously with properly fixing the second connector in the fitting hole.

摘要： A contact terminal fixing construction including a first fixing portion and a second fixing portion which are mounted on a board in spaced relation to each other. When a distal end portion of a contact terminal is moved obliquely relative to the surface of the board, the first fixing portion engages this distal end portion. The second fixing portion includes a pair of claws, and a proximal end portion of the contact terminal is fitted into a space between these claws, and is engaged with the second fixing portion. The contact terminal has a limitation portion for limiting the movement of the contact terminal in a direction of a length thereof.

摘要： Encoder/decoders are associated with conventional local and far-end communications equipment such as facsimile machines. Information to be faxed is encoded at one end, transmitted to the other end, and decoded, without affecting normal communications protocol or requiring other specialized equipment at either end. A secure information processing device is provided at each end, between the equipment and the communications line, and either encodes outgoing information or decodes incoming information, in accordance with a randomly generated key code, depending on whether the equipment at a particular end is transmitting or receiving a communication.
